As much as I love Simon Cowell, I really hope one of his acts are in bottom 2 with John & Edward next week and his act goes. Shocking!
It is all in the name of entertainment ... if Lloyd and the twins had been voted off, the competition would be a lot less controversial. This year there are not really outstanding performers and it is quite hard to chose. Although Lloyd should have gone this weekend, imo he was worse than Jedward.
this is a singing competion, and lucie can sing! what a fix last night, simon can certanly see pound signs with jedward
I can't stand the twins and I thought Lucie was amazing but I did look at the results again last night and right up to the point where Simon said Deadlock, Lucie was grinning.. she was convinced she would win against the twins until it came to the public vote.
It was said last night that Simon was in a pickle.. if he choose Lucie, everyone would have been on his back about "oh he can see another record deal to make him millions" and if he choose the twin, "oh he wants his ratings".. so he left it to the public (as in my opinion is should be). Get rid of the sing off and just kick out whoever gets the lowest votes that way nobody can blame Simon and co for their choice.
I don't think either Lucie or Twin could win.. my money is on Olly but now I feel that either the twins and one of Simon's act will be in bottom 2 or even 2 of Simon's acts just to spite the previous result.. This is no longer based on talent (that was proven when Miss Frank and Rachel left) Lloyd and Twin should have been gone a long long time ago.
But.. guess who will be tuning in next week, yes you're right, ME.. it is car crash tv that we can't help but watch

Louis when all the booing was going on for the twins
Simon wants Danyl to win
Olly, Stacey and Jedward now for the final
Siobhan, I agree with you, the judges decided on who they were going to take into the competition and as experienced music people, I respect their decisions. Now it should be just the public who vote who they like best. The judges verdict is pointless as even Louis admitted that Lucie was a good singer but would not vote off the act he himself mentors. Makes a mockery out of the whole judges voting, imo.
The thing that annoyed me about simon was on the xtra factor he was saying he did it out of interest but didnt think she would go, which is silly he should have done the right thing and saved her and he would have been able to find out later who the public vote would have got rid of!
Abbie, I think he honestly believed that the twins would go... he messed up big time on this
the x factor is a complete farce now, simon doesnt want another girl to win- he already has leona and alex, its totally fixed- proper tactical voting and personal against danni- there was massive tension between her and simon next week, its totally rigged
Lucie was convinced she'd stay you could see it when she was grinning and then when Simon put it to the public vote she started to cry knowing she was a goner  Simon knew the twins would stay and this means more ratings and money for him
Simon biggest competition for his group at the start was Danni's group and now all she has left is Stacey (who should make the final imo)
No matter who wins the show Jedward will be the biggest winners
Joe wears way to much make up
I think that the twins are going to win :(
Thy kind of see themselves as the next Bros!
I don't think they will win  I still see them like the McDonald brothers and Same Difference .... in the competition until the end but not winners. (Hopes and prays)
WTF Lucie was sent home, I am so annoyed with Simon. I agree that the judges shouldn't have a say on who gets sent home, leave it all to the public votes. I can't stand the Twins now. But I don't get why Lucie was in the bottom 2 in the first place, do the public not like her? Hers was one of my favourite performances on Saturday. Now I want Stacey to win  (I've always wanted her to win anyways). Two of Simon's acts to be in the bottom 2 next week please :D:rotfl:
Queen Week this weekend Jedward rumoured to be doingSpoiler:
LONG LIVE JEDWARD X FACTOR CHAMPIONS 2009
I actually thought the twins were entertaining last night - it was a far better performance than their Ghostbusters one.
Simon knows that Lucie has done enough to get herself a record deal, and the twins are good publicity. Bit hypocritical of him though.
The final seven X Factor hopefuls will reportedly perform tracks from Queen's back catalogue next week.
Presenter Glenda Gilson revealed the latest theme on Irish TV show Exposé today.
"Queen is the theme for next week, so I think it is 'Radio Ga Ga' for [John & Edward]," she said.
Next Sunday's X Factor results show will include a guest performance from Shakira and all 12 finalists will return for the premiere of their charity single, which is a cover of Michael Jackson's 'You Are Not Alone'.
The X Factor continues on Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.

Broadcasting regulator Ofcom has confirmed it has received complaints following Simon Cowell's decision to let the public decide who was to be voted off the latest episode of The X Factor.
Welsh teenager Lucie Jones was kicked off the talent show after the public chose twins John and Edward Grimes to go through to the next round.
The Irish twins have become firm favourites with the public despite some erratic performances.
The decision to open up the voting has been criticised in some quarters due to the twins' apparent popularity.
An Ofcom spokeswoman confirmed that complaints had been made but would not confirm how many had been received.

She said: "We will assess the complaints against the Broadcasting Code."
The twins said they have were racked with guilt after knocking Jones out of the show.
The 18-year-old joined the boys, nicknamed "Jedward", in the bottom two in front of the biggest audience the ITV talent show has ever received.
She said the twins, who have been criticised for their lack of singing talent, felt guilty about staying in the competition.
When it was his turn to vote, Cowell said he would prefer to see the boys again rather than Jones, but left the final decision to viewers as that meant the vote was "deadlocked".

Out of all the people who complained to OFCOM about the X Factor results at the weekend, how many of them actually voted for Lucie in the first place? If you don't vote for the act then they will end up in the bottom two!!
Lucie did get the least amount of votes thats why she is gone
simon said that this was going to be his last x factor this time ages ago now so maybe he is trying to ruin it
I don't think he is trying to ruin it.. he is just doing what should have been done from the start, actually get the public to vote on it.. remember years ago there was pandemodium when Louie kept that really bad Irish group in the competition over a fab singer... it was bad... Simon brought it to deadlock to let the public decide, after all that is what they do with the last 5.. what is the difference now?
And how many voted for Lucie? less than voted for Jedward and yet everyone expect them to get kicked out even though they got more votes??? Let the public decide... for once I believe that Simon did the right thing here
Ronan Keating has said that he would "love" Boyzone to perform an X Factor tribute to Stephen Gately.
The Irish singer said that the remaining members of the boyband are keen return to the ITV1 show but the tribute would have to be "done right".
"There's a couple of weeks to go and we'll see," Keating told GMTV when asked about guesting on the reality series. "If it's done right, and it's the right thing, we'd absolutely love to do it. It's just how we do it."
Keating also confirmed that the group are continuing to record an album, which will feature vocals from their late bandmate.
"We're going to make a record. We were just at the beginning of making this record - and there were two songs that Stephen had already put his vocals on," he said.
"So for Stephen were going to finish the record off, and that's keeping us going now. The four of us are sticking together a lot because we feel that when we're together, he's still in the room almost."
Gately passed away last month while on holiday in Majorca, aged 33.

i like the idea of queen week.....
are they naming it "songs by queen that louis had heard of"????
Louis Walsh was on Irish radio this morning right now. He said he was really pi$$ed off with the audience on Sunday, that there was a small group that kept calling the twins w*nkers, ******s, etc and he just got really angry and gave them the fingers. He said Jedward's family were in the audience and it must be hard for them to hear that.
Ofcom has reportedly announced that it will not launch an official investigation into complaints made about Sunday night's X Factor result.
Around 3,000 viewers are said to have contacted the media watchdog after judge Simon Cowell made the controversial decision to vote against Lucie Jones at the weekend.
According to BBC News, Ofcom has now indicated that while it considers complaints about flawed voting processes and treatment of contestants, it does not investigate the outcome of programmes.
A representative for the organisation added that it reviews "every complaint" it receives.
Sunday's show saw Cowell's vote forcing a deadlock following a sing-off between Welsh singer Jones and twins John & Edward. Dannii Minogue's 18-year-old hopeful was then eliminated after producers reverted to the earlier viewer poll.

A massive 82% of Yahoo! users believe that The X Factor has lost all credibilty following Lucie's exit from the show.
Only 8% of almost 48,000 people who voted said that they still believed the show was credible, while many commented that they would no longer be watching.
Sunday night's controversial result saw Simon Cowell force the decision to the public vote after Lucie Jones and John and Edward found themselves in the bottom two.
It was then revealed that Lucie had received the least votes and she left the competition, despite giving a much better performance than the twins during the sing-off.
The poll results come after it was revealed that ITV has had more than 3,000 complaints about Sunday night's programme.
TV watchdog Ofcom has also confirmed that it is investigating complaints from viewers about the show.
Fans are also threatening to boycott the show because they believe it has turned into a joke. Lorda288 said: "What a farce - as soon as Simon chose to keep the twins in I switched off. I won't be watching again. For him it is all about money and his acts winning.!
Floloverrichard added: "Let me know when John and Edward have gone and I will start watching the show again."
In other X Factor news, it's been reported that plans for a dance theme this weekend have been ditched by Simon Cowell in a last minute decision.
The remaining acts will now sing songs by Queen on Saturday night's show.
cant wait to see what they will be doing next week!!
We only found yesterday that this week the finalists would be singing an array of popular songs from group Queen and we now know what Danyl and Jedward are planning on singing. Some fans suggested that the twins would sing We Will Rock You again, but not so…
According to The Mirror’s 3AM, Danyl will be singing Queen’s infamous We Are The Champions while the twins are preparing to take on Radio GaGa!
As always nothing is confirmed until Sunday, so these remain as rumours until then!

Rihanna has confirmed that she will be performing on The X Factor later this month.
The 'Umbrella' singer is expected to sing her new single 'Russian Roulette' and act as a guest mentor on the ITV1 reality show.
Her appearance is expected to tie in with the release of her fourth studio album Rated R, which is released on November 23.
Speaking to The Mirror about working on the show, she said: "I am beyond excited - it was the easiest decision I've ever made. A lot of people watch the show over here on YouTube and I personally caught a lot of it when Leona Lewis was on, who's an amazing artist.
"So to say yes to Simon was an honour, especially as I know the show so well."
Shakira will be the celebrity guest on this Sunday's X Factor, while Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle will perform her debut single 'Wild Horses' on the November 22 episode.

Simon Cowell has forbidden the X Factor contestants from discussing the controversy over the Jedward vote.
The show boss is desperately trying to keep control of the public uproar following his decision to back Irish twins John and Edward Grimes, and could even apologise to the nation for causing such an upset.
One of Simon’s own acts, Olly Murs, 25, confessed: “I can’t say anything, they won’t let me.” And when Lloyd Daniels, 16, was asked about the twins, he replied: “I’m not allowed to say anything, sorry.”
They have all been warned not to add fuel to the fire by giving their opinion on whether the music mogul was right to back the twins.
An insider said last night that Simon, 50, might use Saturday’s live show to say sorry, but warned he would not back down over letting the public have the final say.
He said: “Simon will only hold his hands up if he thinks he’s done something seriously wrong. He’s sorry so many people are upset but stands by his decision to send the result to dead lock and see who the nation wanted out.” But he added: “When Simon lays down the law only someone stupid would think about breaking it.
“The whole thing is getting a bit out of hand and Simon doesn’t want to make things worse with contestants mouth- ing off about the scandal.
“He runs a tight ship and they have been warned there will be serious consequences if they discuss anything outside the X Factor family.”
Simon’s warning came after more than 3,000 people complained to ITV and telly watchdog Ofcom about Sunday’s results show.
Many fans accused him of manipulating the show so one of his acts will win, even though it meant getting rid of talented Lucie Jones, 18, who he described as the “strongest girl in the competition”. And yesterday a poll on the show’s website revealed 89% of fans were left “completely numb” by his decision to save them.
But the Irish duo are backed by star Robbie Williams, 35, who said: “What do you look forward to every week on that programme?
“For me it’s Jedward, I love watching them. I think it’s an entertainment show and I am entertained by those two.”
Their mentor Louis Walsh, 56, aims to give them a show-stopping routine on Saturday when they belt out Queen classic track Radio Ga Ga.
My Mum was so angry about what Simon did last week she said she won't watch it this week, but I said it wouldn't make any difference to the viewing figures, because ages ago I read somewhere that a company gives a gadget to so many thousands of people to attach to their TVs so what they watch can be tracked and then they multiply it by how many thousands to work out the general viewing figures for the whole of the UK (for all programs and channels). Does anyone know if this is actually how it works? BTW I WILL still be watching X Factor, but will be MUCH HAPPIER when the Twins get sent home :wall::angry:
I agree wholeheartedly with Sting.

Rock star Sting has called the X Factor "televised karaoke" and said judges like Simon Cowell have "no recognisable talent apart from self-promotion".
The singer, 58, told London's Evening Standard that the Saturday night show was "a soap opera which has nothing to do with music".
Lucie Jones's agent reportedly wants to change the terms of the singer's X Factor contract.
According to The Sun, Leigh-Ann Regan claims that the 20-year-old has been offered record deals, a role in a BBC drama and an audition for a Hollywood film.
Regan, of Regan Rimmer Management, said: "It's frustrating because we represented her before she went into the X Factor and are still representing her.
"There are lots of offers on the table, but we can't do anything with them because she's now under contract with The X Factor until March 2010."
She added: "We're not willing to pass the deals over to the [X Factor] management company because we discovered her."
Jones lost the public vote on Sunday's results show after Simon Cowell's decision to save John & Edward left the panel in deadlock.

Surely X Factor can release her seeing she is no longer part of the competition
If the twins make it to the final and get to do a duet i hope its with Ant and Dec - Lets Get Ready To Rumble
Dannii Minogue has dedicated her Cosmopolitan Ultimate TV Personality of the Year Award to her last remaining X Factor act Stacey Solomon.
The Aussie star said she had forgiven Simon Cowell for saving John And Edward but was determined to win the ITV talent show with Essex girl Stacey.
Dannii brandished her award saying "I'll keep it in my dressing room as inspiration for Stacey (Solomon) - a bit of girl power from Cosmo."
The X Factor judge insisted she wasn't angry with Simon Cowell over the events at the weekend which led to her act Lucie Jones's departure.
She said: "Simon and I spoke yesterday, it's fine."
But she added: "Taking it to deadlock is not something I would have done. I thought as soon as he did it of all the hype and press John And Edward had had all week. But it's something he did in the heat of the moment and now he has to live with it, and if he ends up with John And Edward winning the record deal, well..."
Meanwhile EastEnders star Lacey Turner, who won the Cosmopolitan Ultimate TV Actress Award revealed John And Edward are her guilty pleasure.
"I love them", she confessed.
"I don't think they should win but I think they should be in the final. They're so entertaining."
But Girls Aloud's Kimberly Walsh said: "I don't get John and Edward. They're very entertaining, I can see that, but they can't sing. I love little Joseph. I think he's great but you just don't know with X Factor."
The X Factor contestants are going to sing Bohemian Rhapsody as a group this week
X Factor judge Louis Walsh has complained about Irish viewers being unable to vote for their favourite contestants.
The boyband manager claimed that Dublin-born brothers John & Edward are at a disadvantage in the contest because they do not have a hometown vote like the other acts.
Speaking to the Evening Herald, the pair's mentor commented: "It's ridiculous Irish viewers can't vote. I'd be far more confident of keeping the twins in if we had a vote in Ireland."
He added: "I know from just walking down the street here and the reaction I'm getting that they have huge support here."
Fans who watch The X Factor on TV3 in Ireland were able to vote for the first four series. However, the Irish phone lines were scrapped in 2008.
Walsh recently admitted that John & Edward were "slagged off" in Ireland during the initial stages of the competition.
