There is no need to be horrid in your posts, this thread was designed for people to talk about their day and share some problems throughout the day that they may have had...if you don't like this thread, just simply don't reply.Quote:

I had a good day today...i went to a festival type thing where loads of different bands performed and my favourite band performed there! whoo!!
My favourite song by my favourite band kinda got wrecked though because they hired a singer to scream throughout the whole song..and everyone was taking the mick out of him and chucking stuff at the band...it did ruin my favourite song, i liked it the way it was written originally without the screaming but i think the screaming throughout the song isn't permanent but just an experiment to see what people think, they are still my favourite band though!
The other bands that performed were ok, i went with my friends and it was really good. :)
Tomorrow will be a good day for me as up in scotland the little darlings are back at school. :cheer: :cheer:
Wow..i never knew that schools opened in Scotland from the summer holidays already! I am not back in school until the 6th of September.Quote:

we had a staff conference today, we have one every year at the begining of term were we have motivation speakers who try and help you improve your lifestyle and reduce stress. One of the guest speakers today was a man called Jamie Andrews. Some of you might not know of him but Jamie is from Edinburgh and was a mountaineer. In 1999 Jamie and his best friend also called Jamie (Fisher) were on holiday in the french alps to climb one of the mountains. The climb was to last two or three days but as they reached the top of the mountain they were hit by bad snow storms and were left stranded there for 5 days. Sadly Jamie Fisher lost his life on the mountain but Jamie Andrews survived. Tragically Jamie had to have both his hands and feet amputed due to severe frostbite. In the 7 years since the accident Jamie has not only learned to adapt to living a normal life but he has returned to mountaineering by climbing Kilamanjaro, run the London Marathon and skydiving. He is also the proud father of three wonderful children. His presentation lasted over an hour where he spoke about the emotions he has went through since that day. He truly was an inspiration and I sat and listening with tears streaming down my face. It really puts life into prospectus when we all moan about the trival things in life.
OMG Scotland was so good, it was so peaceful and the scenery was loverly. We were on a boat going down the caledonian canal and we sailed on Loch Ness. I still cant believ i sailed on loch ness even though my bodys still feeling physical. It got a little hairy when the fog came over and we could nt see where we going. It was fun all the same. The drive back was long though even though we stayed over the night in Falkirk at the travel Lodge. There was no electricity or anything so i had no TV so ive been reading inside soap to keep me up to date.
I think i heard about Jamie Andrews. All those things heve done are a real inspiration to those living with disabilitys after accidents.
I just got back from france and I'm exhausted! The weather was a bit off, rain and wind all the time! The beach was okay though, but sometimes too cold to go in :( We made it home in record time though, 3 hours from Portsmouth to Manchester and I'm all unpacked now! I recieved lots of stuff about college, so I got to fill that in soon!
3 hours, how did you manage that. ARe journey home wasnt too bad either. We got from Falkirk to Stockport with no traffic or anything in about 4 hours as soon as we pulled up at Cheadle we got stuck in a queue. My dad wasnt impressed.
well we got off the ferry at 7am, and didn't stop!! there wasn't very much traffic at that time, not even around birmingham. we were surprised because we normally take the toll road but we'd never do it again!Quote:

Had a really good day yesterday it was my dads birthday so we went to 'Man City stadium on the tour and in the museum, it was really good. In the museum there was like video clips and artifacts such as Richard Dunnes size 11 football boots and clips of all the goals we have scored against out loverly neighbours United. In the stadium we saw the press conference room and the dressing room i sat in Samaras and Dunes changing area it took a while to sink in. Then we walked down the tunnell, it was a really good day. Then on the way out i bought my ticket for tomorrow game, they d best win but i cant see it happening somehow.
Today watched four episodes of shameless series 2 had a shower and fell asleep. A very prioductive day if i say so myself.
Had a super day....started with a nice long lie in, followed by a pub lunch, with mates, and just one or two glasses of alcohol...
Then somehow we ended up at this big garden centre and Ive spent a small fortune on candles and plants...er where Im going to put, or what Im going to do with them all, I dont know! Anyone want a shrub for their garden or a pot plant?! lol
I have had a good few days..i went to the mall (my local shopping centre) with my mum yesterday to get new shoes for school, i brought the new lost prophets album and saw the movie...haven't had chance to watch it yet though.

Been back at school since tuesday and i am fed up already.Back to getting up early and wearing the stupid uniform. When i go back to school after the summer there always seems to be to many people cause the new first years do not know where they are going so just stand in the middle of the corridor holding the whole place up i feel sorry for them cause i can remeber what it was like but it get really annoying.Back to hard work, homework and hearing all about how important this year is because of exams which is terrible to hear about on the first day.
Going to the Match Later, 5 15 kick off. Going to get thrashed but oh well i love the whole experience i get so high on the atmosphere.
Been shopping this morning and bought some really nice black plants. Went into Music zone and ended up coming out with 4 CDs and a DVD. Its lethal in there. They had an offer on which i just couldnt refuse. Now Charging up my MP3 player as i got to drive to Birmingham to night to see my Family. Its also the All Ireland GAA football Semi Final tomorrow which im really looking forward to.
one of things i hate when you get back from holiday is having like no clothes, honestly i just have to wear anything i can find, and then i got the job of sorting out all the photos it takes forever.
Today we went to Gay Pride in Manchester, and it was brilliant! I've never been before and it was amazing so I'm definitely going next year. It was also my mates birthday so I met up with her and some other people in Manchester
