Ashley's dementia storyline has been one of the best ever storylines done by a tv show, Emmerdale and John Middleton deserve all awards, praise and accolades

I am sad to see it finish because for me it was the only reason I continued to watch regularly. I think I might give 'The One Show' a go next week, I would rather watch that than see Cain and Harriet giving into passion - :sick:
A beautiful ending and I'm so glad Ashley recognised Laurel right at the end.
She had some time with him before though but thought at the time that Bernice should have left her there when all the others were reading from the memory book instead of taking her to the cafeQuote:
