Coronation Street returns for Gail and Eva?

It's only been a week since Coronation Street waved goodbye to Gail, but we may not have seen the last of her even though she's enjoying her happy-ever-after in France.

Executive producer Iain MacLeod surprised fans this week by revealing that Helen Worth had spoken to him about potential returns, agreeing to consider coming back for important Platt family storylines.

Meanwhile, Catherine Tyldesley ? who played Eva Price ? revealed that Corrie bosses have secretly approached her about returning on more than one occasion in recent years.

While it's never been the right time for Catherine so far, she's left the door open with every former cast member's favourite phrase: "Never say never".
