Mason has said he wants to change, so Gary and Maria should allow him the chance to do so, and just try to make sure Liam is kept away from him, to see if Mason really does want to turn over a new leaf.
Abi was the same with Corey when she heard about the prison football team, and look how that turned out. There must be some hope and opportunity for rehabilitation, after all she is a prime example of it, when she is not losing her rag about something.
Should not have to happen... he has paid for what he did, he can keep away from Liam and Dylan anyway because he is working now .. really do not see a problem. If they were still going to the same school I could understand it but not now... should be easy enough for them to avoid each other or at least ignore each other when they do pass in the street
i don't think mason should be allowed anywhere near where liam is
liam is the victim, mason's victim
mason could work and live somewhere else but the writers want him around
mason can start over but if he has really changed he wouldn't allow liam to be scared, keep suffering, he'd go elsewhere
Much of the fear is being generated by Sean, Maria and Gary. Mason has said he is not going to harm Liam, although others might not believe him, but so far he has not done anything to prove them right. There must be hope that those who go to prison can be rehabilitated, otherwise we might as well throw away the key for everyone who gets locked up.
no one would want to see their bully tormentor on a daily basis on the street where they live, it is a constant reminder and liam is probably still living in fear
yes mason has done nothing so far but i think if throughly sorry why stay around weatherfield where he has no family or friends as it seems just a constant reminder to liam who was suicidal
i can see why maria and gary want him gone and are worried for liam, that shock thinking her son was contemplating suicide will always haunt maria and affect liam too
that's my take on it, how i see it, others are probably different
sean does annoy me, he expects gary to be the violent thug and sort mason out, dylan was no angel also was bad to liam
