That is such an insult. Accusing people of homophobia. That is NOT why people don?t like him.

badly done stunt
the writers could have changed sean for the better from his homeless storyline, don't mind him being gay and camp but he can be very annoying, selfish and dull but so can many characters
I think Tim was not supported enough to learn to read and write. It probably suited Geoff that he could not. Made him easier to manipulate
at least gary survived and maria is back with a mask
Elaine is not really keeping a low profile on the Street away from Geoff who lives there
weatherfield hospital no restrictions as anyone can stay wait for news on gary
the jungle hurt him as he came across not nice for im a celeb
the pub doing takeaway, is it hotspots cooked by ryan
I think part of the problem with Sean is that he largely comes across as having next to no character development. Soap characters often change over time. For instance Eastenders, Stuart went from being Micks friend to being a nutjob to being if not nice, at least a bit reformed. Corrie has had their own examples, like Evelyn who went from being downright acrid to more comedic and over the years there have been others.
Sean while he has had some changes still basically seems to be much the same as when he first came in. Any character stories seem to be wiped largely and forgotten, his friendship with Violet, his homelessness etc.
Sally loves her yellow rubber gloves and now Jenny has too
I hope Geoff did not kill Elaine, kidnap lock her up?
How could Faye just stand and watch Geoff so that to Elaine! It was horrible! I think I hate Geoff more than I did Pat Phelan!
You can be consistent but still develop characters. For example Gail's nature has pretty much been static, she's always thought no one is good enough for her precious Nick and that she is a bit better than some people but there's still been evolution of her character. You can be consistent and still have some changes. Sean has always been the same.
So Gary pulled all those IV canulas out, left hospital without discharge and a day or two later is walking around like he has never been in a bad accident???? :hmm:
I believe Spain is quite a civilised country and I would imagine all deaths are registered. Maybe the Weatherfield police could ask the Spanish authorities for a copy of Tim's mum's death certificate, even if they have to try two names.
Underworld have been making masks and scrubs for the NHS, they deserve a mention in the Weatherfield Gazette for that.
That's the point! She wouldn't be able to find it as there isn't one. Of course that is not absolute proof she didn't die, but Geoff said she died of breast cancer in Spain in 1970. Surely if she died of breast cancer she would have been under the care of the hospital, a hospice or a doctor at the very least, one of whom would have signed her death certificate. So, the fact the police wouldn't be able to find one would surely cast huge suspicion on his story.
is tess the one that supposedly died of breast cancer?
Didn't Geoff say he was 'told' she had died of breast cancer, so he can say he is not lying if he was misinformed.
Yes, he said he was told she died of breast cancer in Spain in 1970, which is quite specific really. However, yes, if there is no death certificate he can of course say that he was misinformed but that in itself leaves open the possibility that she is still alive as that's the only reason he has to believe she died.
Geoff really overdid himself at the end there. Who does he think he is when Sally has made it clear he's not welcome, not to mention his fobbing off of Faye was a bit over the top.
Also the way he more or less dismissed the Police detective, Weatherfield police at their usual high standard.
