I really would like to know how Dev can afford Oakhill. Do we know how many shops he has? As far as I'm aware he has the corner shop and the kebab place. However at one point he had about six convenience stores before a mad fiancee of his torched most of them.
He can't afford it. The only shops he has now are the ones around Coronation Street. He sold all his other shops in 2011.
Did Dev borrow from Gary or another loan shark, I thought Gary made him a smart snarky comment
yas tell imran get dr. gaddas on the stand about std
I think the last sentence from Alya .. he will do it again to the next woman .. that might be what Yasmeen needed to hear to speak up about Geoff and the way he treated her ....
is dev kids returning to weathy high now
I know Shona isn't meant to be totally normal in her behaviour but they really are making her look a bit...off at times. Like the time she laughed when told that Hailey had died of pancreatic cancer and her reaction Nina
I am always amazed by how quickly in soapland laptops work, Geoff has been in hospital for days, Yasmeen in prison, laptop not connected to power but starts up straight away ... :wall:
I also note that computers work quickly. I know laptops can be left on standby but even then if you've had one for a little while it takes a few seconds for the drive to 'spin up' and the screen to refresh. Desktop PC's switch on and are on full readiness in no time at all.
I remember years ago when I watched Neighbours I used to wonder at the Kennedys having a desktop PC in the middle of the lounge with no sign of any cables from it, no power, mouse or keyboard cables, monitor power nothing.
Interesting to see the rude and unkind side of Shona.
So is Imran Yasmeen's solicitor and barrister then?
Although I didn't spot Paula in the episode, I saw Stirling Gallacher's name (the actress who plays her) on the end credits of Monday's episode, and since then there have been screen shots of Paula sitting in front of Imran in the Courtroom on the internet clearly posted by keener-eyed folk than yours truly.
So now we have Yasmeen wavering. I am tempted to give up on this stupid woman.
But at least we know Paula is still around.
what was sharon saying about fred elliot
The tide is turning for Geoff, his only allies is Tim and Faye
I hope Tim lets slip about the camera recording to Sally
I have enjoyed the scenes of Dev and his kids lately
I hope Dev doesnt keep on with his 'joke' comments disparaging Adi. He says its just a joke, but stuff like that can be hurtful, especially if its continuous.
Despairing at Yazmeen saying to say sorry to Geoff about 'upsetting him', grow a spine.
Does Izzy ever ask Chesney after her nephew Jacob?
Grow a spine was rather harsh and was too little sleep, but I just don't get why after all he has done she is still trying to appease him. He continually made it plain what his loathsome attitude towards her was. When she was talking to Alya for a little time she seemed to...what's the phrase, coming to terms with what had happened, but then she suddenly backslid with saying to apologise to Geoff.
I really don't get her assertion that he's 'complex', and can't even see any indication of that.
True, I didn't mean for it to sound so bad. Can anyone remember when and why this started? Was there an event that kicked this control and abuse off. Note that I'm not excusing Geoff, I was disappointed that Yasmeen hadn't killed him but that would have went worse for her.
It's obvious that Sally isn't buying it. For example he went on about how traumatic the 'assault' was, yet when it comes to the house he is all 'its mine, my precious'.
He is like Corrie's version of Gollum.
If only it was that easy anyway .... I find this "advice" offensive and most unhelpful to people who are suffering with mild depression let alone to somebody in Yasmeen's condition .. I agree with you, parkerman, I hope that they will show Yasmeen being offered and accepting professional help once the court case is over
