LUCIE Jones is to sing a Disney track for tomorrow's songs from the movies theme.

The Welsh warbler,18, gushed that she couldn't wait for the performance, which will see her go up against the remaining seven contestants.

She said: "Everyone who likes Disney is going to love it because it's from a Disney film. I'm really excited and I hope you all like it."

Terrible twins John and Edward are crooning the Ghostbusters theme tune.

Groover Olly Murs, who impresses the judges in his first audition with his smooth moves, will be singing and dancing to Twist and Shout.

Meanwhile Lucie's nan has revealed how she used to perform with her granddaughter when she was younger.

Jean Davies, 74, from Tonyrefail in south Wales, told a newspaper: "When she came over she used to always sing while I played on the piano. To me she's got that star quality."

Jamie Archer has reportedly been considering his future on The X Factor due to his worsening relationship with Simon Cowell.

Archer, 34, threatened to quit after he was banned from going on tour with Bon Jovi because he is contracted to the ITV show, reports The Sun.

A friend of the contestant claimed that he is also fed up with how he is being treated by his mentor Cowell.

"He was on the verge of quitting at the weekend because he was so angry at being given rubbish songs and some judges' comments. He hasn't forgiven Simon for changing his song," they stated.

"Their relationship is not great. There were already serious cracks but now it's more like the Grand Canyon. Jon Bon Jovi came up to him after the Sunday show, told him he liked him and offered him a support act role on the tour.

"Jamie was thrilled but his contract means he is tied to X Factor and wouldn't be able to do it. He was absolutely gutted and it made for a tense week between him and Simon."

A virus has meant that Archer has been rehearsing with a "croaky" voice for this evening's performance and will apparently be singing a song which is "out of his comfort zone".

The X Factor continues tonight at 8pm on ITV1.

jamie archer is a crank. He knew when he signed the contract with xfactor that he would not just be able to up and leave when he feels like it.

I agree with Simon, Lloyd's voice was too weak for the song. Will be interesting to see whether he will be in the sing-offs

I didn't think they all did that great tonight - the only performances I enjoyed were Jamie and Joe's.

I don't really have a passionate favourite this year, like I did last year.

Didn't Danyl look gorgeous tonight with his new haircut?! .. can't say I was too keen on his version of Purple Rain though. Ruth Lorenzo's version will always be my favourite :D

Has anyone heard of the film Gummo that the song Crying came from. I have heard of the song but not the film. I think Lloyd will go tomorrow his performance was the weakest.

JOHN and Edward could get their own TV SHOW and be the next ANT AND DEC, Sinitta has revealed.

But there's one condition - that they DON'T win the X Factor.






If they did Simon Cowell would automatically have to give the twins - who performed the Ghostbusters theme tune last night - a record deal with his SyCo label.



Sinitta - the former pop star who is now Simon's closest aide - explained: "Simon would actually create a show especially for them. Anything but have them win X Factor. At the moment he doesn't want them."
She went on: "They are going to have to take over one of the big shows, hosting Britain's Got Talent or something. People call them the new Ant and Dec, although Ant and Dec would be horrified to think people find them as irritating as that." :lol:

I skimmed over most of it because it sounds like a horrible film to me, I certainly will never watch it. Why do people make these films? :sick:

I had to laugh when louis told Simon he didn't understand the stupid song and ridiculous dancing ( refering to ollys performance ). How could he have the cheek to say that when his act was the twins singing ghostbusters lol

Danyl's rendition of Purple Rain was pants. Ruth did a better job last year.

I am tired of Jedward now. I was looking forward to their performance last night, but I was disappointed. IMO they are getting worse and worse. Wonder how Dannii got her old seat back? I like Lloyd :D I didn't like Jamie's performance. I didn't think much of Stacey's styling. I don't think "sexy" suits her. Olly was good as usual. You're right, Ruth's Purple Rain was MUCH better than Danyl.

My mum really made me laugh last night, after the x factor finished she sent me a text saying' Jedward must go'

While i love Simon Cowell I really can not believe Simon Cowell did this to be quite honest i think it personally defeat the whole purpose of the show.:o

While Jeward are good for publicity and maybe for entertainment value they can not sing.:hmm:

However i am not that big of a fan anymore i prefer strictly when i have the time to watch it.

i too like strictly but i love x factor, i cant believe simon didnt send the twins home i thought he hated them:hmm: . and i thought Lloyd should have been in bottom two not Lucie, never mind these things always happen, hopefully Jedward will go next week

Simon did well putting it to the public vote he knew Jedward would be staying and they bring him big ratings

Danni is acting like a spoilt brat because her act Lucie is gone - get over it

I love the twins. They have gotten better vocally in my opinion to. ThInk Simon was right Sending to deadlock. Think lucie thought she was going to be saved.

Lloyd should ha e gone though.

i think he put it to the public vote hoping that lucie would be out.....he has more chance of winning with one of his acts with jedward still in it that if lucie is..


to be honest if i was him....i would have done the same

I totally agree. Its not about the talent anymore (was it ever), and its just ridiculous. Simon is just money grabbing, he doesn't care about who can sing and who can't. He's supposed to hate those two supposedly. This weekend has been the first one I've watched and it will be the last. :rolleyes:

It's not about talent anymore... the judges themselves don't even know what that is with the tosh they've put through, it's all about them, and their egos... and their childish point scoring games against each other, it's pathetic and Simon has played a very dangerous game so far.

Nah, it was simply down to getting the viewing figures. He knows both have a slim chance of winning so might has well let the controversy carry on a little.
