Nope i can't stand them, midly ammusing, but not really something for the royal variety. I loved MD Group and Shaheen.

I'm glad Stavros Flately and Shaheen got through
So am I :cheer:
I knew there was something I forgot to watch last night.
And there I was, watching a program about fossils.
Because of the football, there is no BGT tonight, so you can watch more programmes about fossils :D
Ahh football!
Is BGT repeated tonight? Like on ITV2...:hmm:
Shaun Smith ('Britain's Got Talent')
Wednesday, May 27 2009, 10:40 BST
By Alex Fletcher, Senior Entertainment Reporter
Amanda Holden has described him as "big competition" for Susan Boyle, while Simon Cowell has labelled him the show's "dark horse", but can the 17-year-old singing sensation Shaun Smith really win this year's Britain's Got Talent? We caught up with the down-to-earth rugby fan to find out how whether he's confident that he's got what it takes to win the crown.
How nervous were you knowing that millions of people were about to watch you sing live on TV for the first time?
"Before the show, all that was going through my mind was the idea that one minute and 45 seconds could make or break me. Luckily, it went alright. But that was all that I could focus on in my mind and the nerves just kept building up and up. When I came onstage and saw the judges and dancers, I was petrified. When I got the first note out, I felt happier and knew it was going to be okay, so I was pretty much in my own bubble after that, as you can kind of tell when you watch it back."
The judges had made some harsh comments to contestants before you. Did that concern you?
"I had seen their comments. Jamie Pugh, who I think is an amazing bloke and an amazing singer, when he got buzzed, that shocked me. I think he's an amazing talent and I just wondered, 'what are they going to do with me?' And then there was Gareth, who I'm very good friends with now, he got buzzed. I think he's just hilarious, so I really was concerned about what the judges would do with me. I was really, really nervous. But then I just thought, 'If it goes t*ts up, it goes t*ts up. Go out and do your best'."
You seem like quite a normal guy. Do you think that will prove a hindrance against some of the more unusual acts?
"That is a problem for me. Some people haven't taken to me because I'm an X Factor candidate kinda guy. I'm a normal person, who can sing. With this competition, I don't think that I stand out as much as some of other acts. I accept that I'm just normal and I'm just really surprised how far I've gone."
You won't be taking tips from DJ Talent to spice up your act then?
"Haha! I tell you what, that tune is amazing. That tune will be the Britain's Got Talent theme tune next year. I'll have that playing out of my car, it's a fantastic tune isn't it? I thought the semi-final version was amazing."
Is your aim to sign a record contract with Simon Cowell after the show ends?
"Of course that's my obvious goal. I would love a record contract. I really, really want to win this competition now. The further I've gone, the more I've wanted it. But at the same time, I've already achieved what I set out to achieve. I've sung in front of millions of people live on TV and I don't think it gets much better than that. Not many people are lucky enough to get that opportunity. I am so over the moon about how it's all going and the only way is up."
The judges seemed surprised by your song choice. Why did you pick U2?
"The reason I chose U2 on Monday was to make it a complete change from the first round audition. A lot of people were looking at my first round video on YouTube and left comments about me being a one-trick-pony. They said that was the only song I could sing, or that I could only do one genre. So I wanted to proved that I could do something new, current and different. Anyone watching, whether it's Simon Cowell or other record companies, will have seen that I'm versatile and can move around genres with my voice."
Do you believe you have a realistic chance of beating Susan Boyle?
"I don't think that you can pre-empt anything in this competition. Everyone is extremely, extremely talented. Shaheen could be the next Susan Boyle challenger, he's an amazing talent and could go all the way. But you can't predict how anything's going to go. I might end up beating Susan Boyle, but you can't say that's whats going to happen."
There appears to be a happy atmosphere on the show with all the contestants. Do you really all get on?
"This weekend, I have had possibly the best few days of my life. Simply because I've made so many great new friends. Peter Coghlan the drag act - he's a great laugh and is so funny. He's an amazing chap and I'll tell you what... I thought his act was brilliant. It was magic. It was so funny. I was in bits backstage. Gareth is a really, really close friend now. No one here is in direct competition, which makes for a great atmosphere. There's no spitefulness and I think that's the great thing about this show. Everyone wants the best for everyone else."
How are you dealing with your new female followers?
"I have a very soundproof way of dealing with females. I say, 'I'm taken, but I have an entire rugby team of friends who are available'. They are more than happy to take the girls off my hands. My rugby team are loving all my press attention. They don't like my singing, they just like the girls."
Britain's Got Talent continues on Thursday at 8:30pm.
Piers Morgan has revealed that he is disappointed at the failure of DJ Talent to make it to this weekend's Britain's Got Talent final.
The judge wrote on his blog that the DJ's song 'I Say Britain, You Say Talent' could be a number one single, despite being rejected by the public vote.
Morgan said: "I'm distraught. Why the hell is DJ Talent not in the final? In the history of musical travesties, this is right up there with Dannii Minogue never having a No. 1 hit single in the UK.
"I don't know what more DJ could have done - he blinged himself so high, I thought he'd blind the audience."
He added: "He adapted his anthem to include shameless references to all three judges, and as for his throne and glamorous assistants, it was like watching Emperor Nero making a comeback.
"And as I said last night, if Simon doesn't want to manage him then I will. I'm that confident."

Stavros are in the final :cheer:
At Boyle-ing point over rival SOURCE: THE SUN ONLINE 27 May 2009
SUSAN Boyle stuck two fingers up at rival Shaheen Jafargholi and stormed out of a screening of Britain's Got Talent last night after her idol Piers Morgan told the Welsh lad he was the best singer on the semi finals so far.
The 48-year-old Scot stunned a bar full of around 150 hotel guests with her reaction to Piers' praise of Shaheen, 12, when she made a two-fingered gesture at the TV screen and cried "******* off".
She then stormed off to her room in the Wembley Plaza Hotel and didn't return for the rest of the night.
Susan has admitted having a crush on Piers after her first audition on the ITV1 hit.
He revealed how she ran up to him and gave him a kiss after learning she'd got through to the final.
And millions saw her do a saucy shimmy for him and shout out "Piersy baby" at her semi final on Sunday night.
But since belting out Cats tune Memories some people have said she hasn't lived up to her hype.
Susan became a global hit with more than 100m fans watching her BGT audition clip on YouTube.
Singer Lily Allen dubbed Susan as "over-rated" and backed Shaheen to win.
A spokeswoman for Britain's Got Talent denied last night's incident.
She said: "Susan was watching the show in the bar with the contestants' families at first.
"But she was getting hassled by a journalist, so went to watch the rest of the show in a room with four friends."
wow sore loser
Susan Boyle has denied swearing at a showing of yesterday's Britain's Got Talent semi-final after judge Piers Morgan praised fellow contestant Shaheen Jafargholi on the show.
Morgan told the 12-year-old that his rendition of 'And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going' from the musical Dreamgirls had been "the best singing performance we have heard in the semi-finals so far".
Boyle, who was reportedly watching the show with friends in the bar of the Wembley Plaza Hotel, was alleged to have responded by sticking two fingers up at the television and shouting 'f**k off', before retreating to her hotel room.
Her outburst was alleged to have been witnessed by about 150 guests at the hotel, with one claiming: "Everyone was stunned by her reaction."
However, a spokeswoman for the star denied the claims, stating that Boyle had left the bar before Jafargholi's performance had been shown.
She said: "Susan was in the bar with friends but was getting hassled by a journalist. The four of them left before Shaheen’s live performance to watch it in the room instead."
Susan Boyle, who won through to the final of Britain's Got Talent on Sunday, is currently the favourite to win the reality show.
Britain's Got Talent continues tomorrow at 8.30pm on ITV1.
Well I think she is a victim of all the hyper around her... maybe she is starting to believe it herself, and thus started acting like a diva...
Jamie Pugh has revealed that he will undergo hypnosis to get over his stage fright after he was eliminated from the semi-final of Britain's Got Talent.
The 38-year-old pizza delivery man has pledged to continue singing, despite losing out on a place in this weekend's final to Shaun Smith and Flawless.
Pugh told The Mirror: "I woke up this morning with fire in my belly and I really want a singing career.
"But first I must find out what is making me so nervous. I'm hoping hypnosis will provide the answer. The judges didn't see the real me."
On his blog, judge Piers Morgan said that Pugh "died a terrible death of nerves on the biggest stage of his life", while fellow panellist Amanda Holden reportedly said that she "hated" his singing voice during his first audition.
Fabia Cerra has said that she would tone down her burlesque strip routine if she wins the final of Britain's Got Talent and performs in front of the Queen.
The dancer said that it would be "disrespectful" to bare all at the Royal Variety Show were she to get past tonight's live show and win Saturday's final.
Cerra told Metro: "I would be doing a burlesque act that is very, very tasteful where I am in a covered up in a corset."
The stripper added that Dita Von Teese had been "an inspiration" for her act.
"Watching her on TV gave me the confidence to track down a burlesque class and try it for myself. It gave me back a lot of confidence that I had lost in the past. She's an idol," she said.
Good luck to her :)
cant wait till tonights there is still a lot of good talent (and bad) to get squeezed into the last 2 nights,
The opera singer/ballet dancer
The grandad/grand daughter
The dodger wannabe
Aiden
The saxophone player
Fred the break dancer lol
Im forgetting acts I know I am and im terrible with names in case you hadnt noticed lol
An octet of all-of-a-flutter performers await the biggest chance of their lives!
If you suffered Britain's Got Talent withdrawal symptoms last night, when the football stole talent's spot in the schedules, never fear! BGT is back, and bursting with top entertainment!
In alphabetical order, the acts on stage tonight will be:
2 Grand - singers
Brit Chix - rock band
Callum Francis - singer
Fabia Cerra - burlesque
Fred Bowers - dancer
Jackie Prescott & Tippy Toes - animal act
Julian Smith - saxophonist
Sugar Free - dance troupe
And - get yourselves together girls - George Sampson, the winner of Britain's Got Talent 2008, will be Thursday's very special star guest.
Don't miss the show! Britain's Got Talent is on ITV1 at 8.30pm tonight (Thursday). Britain's Got More Talent, filled with mayhem and madness, follows at 10pm on ITV2.
I knew Julian would win and the judges would have to pick between 2 Grand and Callum. Shame all three acts couldn't go through as Callum act was funny and entertaining. 2 Grand are just lovely they may not be the best singers in the competition but they have such a loving relationship John is what every Grandad should be like. I don't think they will win on Saturday but I can see Simon letting them release an album like Farrell did.
My top three for Saturday are:
1) Julian Smith
2) Diversity
3) Stavors Flatley.
I think too that Julian Smith can pull it off in the final, or another youngster again like Callum Francis. I think it will be between those two.
Stressed-out Susan Boyle packed her bags ready to quit Britain’s Got Talent, it was revealed last night.
The singing sensation was said to be on the brink of walking out over a barrage of recent criticism.
Show judge Piers Morgan claimed: “I’ve been told she’s been in floods of tears.
“Yesterday she was actually going to leave the show, packed her bags to go because she couldn’t see the point in going on if all she was going to get was all this sniping.”
He added: “I think there’s a lot of cynicism building up about Susan, a lot of unnecessary criticism about her. She’s just two days away from the biggest show of her life, the biggest moment of her life, and we should give her a break.”
His comments came as TV chiefs considered pulling Susan, 48, out of tomorrow night’s live final over fears that the pressure of stardom may be harming her.
The spinster, who lives alone in Blackburn, West Lothian, went into hiding yesterday after a series of incidents which gave concern for her well-being.
Susan, 48, who was born with minor brain damage and has learning difficulties, was said to be staying with friends after being told to spend some time “chilling out” away from the limelight.
ITV insiders say they will seek medical advice to ensure she is able to cope with tomorrow night’s live final.

The spectre of losing the star of the show from the series climax led to bitter clashes between executives and producers yesterday.
The series has become a ratings blockbuster on the back of the worldwide interest in Susan, with more than 15 million viewers.
But ITV insists it will not risk worsening her already fragile state.
A source said: “If it is felt that she is too vulnerable to perform, she will be withdrawn from the show.”
Bosses were concerned by Susan’s antics after her live semi-final performance on Sunday, including an appearance on ITV2’s Britain’s Got More Talent where she mumbled answers and seemed nervous and flustered.
A series of furious four-letter public outbursts this week – including angrily flicking V-signs at judge Piers – prompted them to order staff to take immediate action.
The source added: “Simon Cowell and Co aren’t happy but there is a much bigger picture here. If anything was to happen to Susan live on air it would be ITV that got the blame. Her well-being is the absolute priority.”
TV watchdogs confirmed last night that ITV has “a duty of care” to anyone appearing on the channel.
Section 2.3 of Ofcom’s broadcasting code states that material broadcast including “humiliation, distress and violation of human dignity” must be justified in context.
Any complaints from Susan or the public after the final could lead to ITV being prosecuted.
The Mirror
Britain's Got Talent's first winner Paul Potts will return to the show to perform a new track on tonight's semi-final.
The opera singer, who releases his second album Passione next month, will appear before the results are announced.
Tonight's acts include 11-year-old dancer Aidan Davis, female dance troupe DCD Seniors, musical family act Good Evans and ballerina/singer Hollie Steel.
Male can-can dancers The Dreambears, guitarist Martin Matcham, singer Greg Pritchard and entertainer Luke Clements complete the lineup.
The top two acts chosen by the public and judges will join Susan Boyle, Flawless, Shaheen Jafargholi, Diversity, Shaun Smith, 2 Grand, Julian Smith and Stavros Flatley in Saturday's live final.
Im so glad that 2 Grand got through :) Its sorta nice to say that an act I saw audition got through, even though I do think others are way better and I dont really want them to win
I am gutted Callum didn't make it through, I thought his act was thoroughly entertaining, and like Simon, I love Jungle Book :D Julian was good too. I am annoyed that 2 Grand got through - I find them nausiating (am I the only person on this forum that DIDN'T want them to get through? :ninja:) I would have rather SugarFree got through instead :) Can't wait to see what Aiden does tonight, his audition blew me away, I had recorded that show that night and I just HAD to rewind it and see his audition again! I really want Diversity or Aiden to win the whole thing:thumbsup:. Susan Boyle issue is turning into a circus.:thumbsdow
Last night was the hardest of the heats any one of Julian, Callum, 2 Grand or Fabia could have won. It was disapointing that Callum didn't get through but it won't be the last we see of that young man. When tomorrow night is over and done with you can bet that Mr Cowell will have his PR team on the ball to sign him up. Him and another few of the finalists.
OMG i really felt for Holly when she broke down mid song, so glad she was given a second chance
Aidan Davis and Hollie Steel have made it through to tomorrow night's final of Britain's Got Talent.
Davis won the public vote with an impressive dance routine in tonight's semi-final. Asked how he felt, the 11-year-old was speechless.
Judge Simon Cowell said: "It's going to be a very special, close competition tomorrow night. I'm really looking forward to it."
Hollie Steel defeated Greg Pritchard in the judges' vote-off with her rendition of 'Edelweiss' from The Sound Of Music.
Piers Morgan added: "It's the best line-up we've ever had on the show...The excitement is unbearable. I can't wait."
The Dreambears, Good Evans, Luke Clements, Martin Matcham and DCD Seniors failed to make it through to Saturday's live grand final.
Aidan Davis and Hollie Steel join singers Susan Boyle, Shaun Smith, Shaheen Jafargholi and 2 Grand, dance troupes Diversity and Flawless, comedy dance duo Stavros Flatley and saxophonist Julian Smith in the last ten.
The Britain's Got Talent final airs tomorrow night at 6.45pm on ITV1.
IM so glad she got a second chance :D
Its unfair Holly got a second chance nerves hits all the contestants even if she is kid :thumbsdow
Yeah but still she was great, despite what happened
i felt sorry for the little girl too but i personally don't think she should ve got through because she is not strong enough to sing in front of crowds(obviously) how is she going to do it tonight? And if she wins how is she going to cope in front of the queen? i think they should of invited her back next year to see if she cope better then..... im starting to sound like simon cowell
Didnt notice too many REAL tears after she threw her tantrum. Obviously going for the sympathy vote
Do you seriously think a 10 year old girl would be that cunning and calculated??!
Nerves got to the girl (who can blame her, singing LIVE for a pro must be difficult, nevermind a child) and she desperately wanted to do it again, properly... now whether she should have been given another chance, or whether her mother should have stopped her ordeal and not let her go back onstage, or whether her little break down got her through to the final, are all valid questions, but none the fault of that ten year old girl... I just hope she gets through tonight's performance...
I felt sorry for Hollie. Her mum came across as being one of those pushy and pressurising types, who won't take 'no' for an answer. It seems to me that whilst Hollie is extremely talented, she isn't ready yet to be up on the stage performing on national TV and she should wait until she's older, when her talent has developed, she has gained more confidence and has matured.
Asking a 10 year old to perform on national TV is a big ask in my opinion. Why doesn't her mum let her wait until she's older?
I thought it was unfair when her mum immediately declared 'can she sing again?'. No other act got any second chances, but it was as if she thought her daughter was above the rules of the competition.
She messed up and that's because she was nervous and I really don't blame her. She is far too young.
But now she has got through to the final, I wish Hollie the very best of luck for tonight. I just hope she copes ok.
I dont think her mum was pushy
You could tell she wanted to start again when she was going wrong the first time, she even started to say it at one point
her mum was just saying that cos thats what her daughter wanted, I know if that was my daughter and she wanted to do it again I would want her to, to have that second chance rather than leave it and have her feeling horrible about what happened
I want either Susan Boyle or Diversity to win. Susan's performance gave me goosebumps and I thought it was really moving. I know there's loads of hype surrounding her, but it's hardly her fault and I don't think she is being arrogant or anything - I just think she has trouble expressing herself.. I read that she has learning difficulties so she must struggle to adapt to situations that she isn't used too. I thought she did really well considering all the hassle she's been getting from the media.
Diversity's performance was sheer genius, I thought. I loved the buzzer part of their routine. How anyone could have the creativity to choreograph a routine like that is beyond me - brilliant.
Diversity nailed it tonight that buzzer routine was sheer bloody brilliant. Stavros Flatley again unbelieveable entertaining you have to love those two, they're just plain mad. It's going to be a close call but I'm going with Diversity to win.
Loved Diversity tonight. Diversity to win i love them!!
if not diversity then Stavros Flatley, sooo funny tonight
It should be Diversity or Stavros who wins, no offence to any of the singers tonight they were all amazing but the point of The Royal Variety Show is about variety and entertainment and Stavros Flatley deserve 10 out of 10 for sheer belly laugh fun. Diversity how can a bunch of lads be that talented without any professional training is beyond me.
I narrowed it down to Stavros or Diversity to win. And to be fair the best won :D :cheer:
Diversity were honestly AMAZING, sheer brilliance.
