Haven't seen Terry around for a while. Where's he gone? I'm always going to be biased towards Mickey but Terry doesn't float my boat as DS. I don't know why but I can't see him as DS.

Hi. can anyone help me please. I saw romania in May - about 3 months ago. Saw 1 - but dont remember much. Taped 2. ive been reading the posts from the previews of these eps. In romania 1 was there actually a sex scene?
In my 2 ep it shows after it - sam in bed, sheet around her while phil is on chair protecting her, sheet around him. in my tape of them back after being off 2 weeks (phil came back from visiting his mum), the previously bit shows them kissing holding hands on the bed.
so...again...was there actually a sex scene - because i missed it!!aaggghhhh!!!
Ive read the articles by lisa and scott re these eps and lisa saw more of scott than she was meant to....but with the editing etc....
right, originally i think a longer scene was meant to be used, rater than them just kissing from what lisa and scott said in interviews but in the end the only thing it was, was the 2 of them kissing.
and yh in interviews lisa said she was shy about what she showed but scott was up for showing anything
so i didnt miss anything then? great. but a pity that the final footage didnt have them actually in bed asleep then he wakes up, gets up to continue sleeping by the door in the chair in his protective mode.
Hi im new here. i only got into the show seriously regularly in may after seeing romania 2 when i became hooked. im in sydney and we are 8 months behind the uk. why didnt the writers want them together? was a reason given? I dont like that she never gave him (much) chance to prove himself. and why does she listen to stuart still even though she broke up with him prior to romania? we here had sam break up with phil 4 weeks ago tonight.Im suffering samphil withdrawals big time!!! since ive become a regular viewer since may ive been reading all the posts on diff forums regarding them since 04 to catch up on what youve all seen, and ive read the bios on the characters too, and the articles on the lisa site.
they have so much natural chemistry - so why didnt the writers want them together? did the station know about her and stuart? or about her and peter? (played by ozi actor peter obrien one of the original actors from Neighbours way back when).

The station deff knew about her a peter cavanagh (sp) as onethey snogged outside the station, then he took her hostage in his car (one of the best ever storyline in my oppinion lol)
and I am posative the station knew about sam and stu aswell

Abi's dad was a murderer, he killed someone when he was a kid and sam didnt tell abi about him as she didnt want her to get hurt, but abi found out and qutie a few problems arose (another great set of storylines)
The reason why i think she wanted to keep her and phil secret is because she didnt want to be station gossip.
And shes wary of men and how they treat her as she has been hurt so many times before, as her old lecturer also caused problems for her aswell and they used to date.
and about the writers they didnt wantthem together something to do with their caracters change when they are together ie phil isnt so hard, naughty, flirty and all of that.

and a biiiiiig thank you for the info re the writers!!!their reasoning is a bit confusing. the actors only interpret what the writers give them to do, the director directs the interpretation of it. so if the writers didnt want them together why did they write the script that phil changes his character around sam? or was it the fans who got them together? - so the writers had no choice? thank goodness sam and phil did get together - but fans wanted them to stay together and not break up. ive also read a post by Sam Nixon Fan tht stuart was brought in to move the story along. which is also what i think is unfair and i guess so do the rest of the longstanding fans (ie those of 04 plus -, and no doubt the originals from 02) - that sam was with stu longer in terms of relationship - including living with him than she was with phil.
i suppose all these twists and turns make for great ratings and so forth but it isnt fair to leave a carrot dangling indefinately. do you think that sam is still in love with phil. and because phil is a pivotal character (what the news reports had), is scott leaving one of the biggest new items the show has had?
erm he killed when he was a kid before sam knew him as he was in a young offenders thing, but they were quite young when they were together and im not sure when he told sam whether it was before abi was born or when she found out she was pregnant im not sure.
and yh sam has been with quite a few people lol, and she will flirt to get what she wants (alan kennedy case) but she has also been hurt loads, whereas with phil he has been with loads of girls, and flirts at everyting but usually he is the one that hurts them (his wife cindy)

no. uk gold is on foxtel which I dont have. We get the repeats on ch 2 (abc) -Free to air tv . In fact, todays (Mon) ep (417) was the 'last' for 2 weeks. From tomorrow they are screening Q/A time from/at parliament house - which gets ratings so Im told - --- and that TB is basically a filler for when parliament isnt sitting. I rang ch 2 up and they told me this. I was only told TB repeats were on about 5 weeks ago and Ive been watching ever since. Im very glad Im not missing out (so far ie) on the beginnings of the triangle. I printed up the eps list so I can work out what ep is on when (repeats and current)
Thank goodness today was a Sam Phil Stu ep. Mind yu Im sick of all the Sam Stu scenes!!! And today Stu's true nature was partially exposed and sam witnessed it and had a go at him, at work, in the CID office, and Phil witnessed it----Good. Glad to see Stuart get caught out. Im sure he's a mega narcissist (in love with himself).

In the last scene what did Stu mean by telling Phil he (P) wants to be like him but he cant and it bothers him? At first I thought Stu was telling Phil he (P) wanted Sam for himself. Or was it both meanings? Because Phil told him he was onto him as in playing the office, especially Sam, and he only backstepped an apology to a victim to impress Sam - which it did. Because in what other way does Phil want to be like Stu (and he hates him anyway). Stu's mega huge ego is talking here i think. Am I right in thinking S knows that P is in love with S and wants her himself?
And.....finally Sam is back in the current eps - back on next Saturday (18th).

I was reading my printouts of the forums ive done and re read the stuff re Romania (yes broken record) , and reading the stuff where people wanted to see more of Scott and what apparently Lisa accidentally saw by accident while filming (dare I say lucky Lisa?!?), and I suddenly remembered that site, and wondered whether to put up or not. Should I post the same message in the ordinary stuff - cause its not about Phil but is it classed as a spoiler? Or not re do it at all?

Hey DetBarb, just been reading through some of your posts. Abi's dad's name was Glen Weston and Sam was trying to protect her and Abi began to hate her and wanted to move out. She and a friend had a load of webcams up in the friend's flat where they filmed them at the computer, going up the stairs and basically everywhere, and Abi had an account on some website that Sam found out about for which the password was Weston.
I think that Sam and Phil would have worked - they worked well together in Romania and it was obvious how much he cared for her afterwards, with him abandoning a chase to check on her as she had been knocked to the floor. He knew her better than anyone, and she couldn't hide it from him for long when she was pregnant by Stewart, and he was the one that convinced her to take the test that was positive. With him involved there, I think they really bonded when she miscarried.

Thanks heaps for your info - it is very much appreciated!! One of the reasons I keep going on about this section of topic is because I am a late devotee of Phil and Sam and I have missed so much and want to know so much about the storyline.
I have seen the show a handful of times since 04 apparently - I first saw it when 'mad' Cathy was on and stopped because I wanted Brendan with Honey. I believe that aired in January - before the Weaver eps.
I also vaguely recall Adam Okaro's family being killed - or at least the aftermath of it. And I vaguely recall him with marijuana.
I used to watch TB when nothing else was on - but that changed with Romania. I havnt been this much into a couple since Blue Heelers PJ and Maggie was on. At least with them they were a secret couple for a few months then were outed and were a public one till her death 18 months later. Their storyline reminds me in a way to Phil and Sam. There were 10 years between them. She was uniform, he a D and she was from a police family. In fact her dad used to be her current boss's boss. PJ & Maggie had their Romania in a disused mine shaft. (Blue Heelers means a country cop). After it she was scared of being a couple because he had a reputation of being a ladies man.... But once he met Maggie that was it - but she had trust issues too... They finally got back together in the afternoon while he was on duty after she had been suspended. So they decided to be a secret. Then about six months later, the story had another D arrive who made a play for Maggie (a la Stu), but because they were a secret they couldnt say anything especially when the
2nd D was demoted to uniform because then the station would know and it was frowned upon having a relationship at the one/same station. But it did come out about them. with more twists as to whether she would stay with PJ or break up and go out with Ben because she did like him. By that time the boss ok'd it as long as they kept romance/work separate - for the most part. She stayed with PJ. They got engaged, and just as they were planning their wedding, she was shot dead by her corrupt D brother.
(This better not happen to Phil!!!)

With Phil and sam ive missed so much from what I can gather is the best romance TB has had.
And I cant understand why the storyliners/script writers dont want them together seeing how (from what Ive read) its what the majority want to see (as in their romance as opposed to others). SP have such amazing chemistry. I also dont like the 4 year old dangling carrot of will-they-wont-they - and the fact that Sam was with Stuart longer than Phil - and she was
coerced into letting him move in with her. I also dont like that she broke up with Phil after only 4 weeks - and that there 2 weeks eps of not seeing them in between romania and their return - and that sam didnt give him much of a chance to prove himself - and tht she listened to Stuart about her not trusting Phil.
Im trying to catch up what I havnt seen in scenes/heard in dialogue. Its why I want ITV to put out more DVD's and get to S20. I might have to invest in Foxtel I think. And the fact that Scott has quit means an end to the storyline too. Ch 2 here has been showing 06 repeats in the afternoon when Stuart arrived and Ive seen up to ep 417. These eps wont be back till 18 Aug. And Im having problems with my timer.

I was much the same and only really watched every episode when Sam and Phil were together. As it is, I only watch it every Thursday as that's when we're at my gran's house and she likes to watch it.
I remember the stuff with Brandon, Cathy and Honey. I watched the repeat of it on UKTV Gold a few years ago, and I remember the Okaro's being killed as it was shown on a Thursday. He watched one child die, then the other, then his wife.
Is it true that Adam and Gina used to be a couple? if so, what happened?
And... what is the relationship between Gina and Smithy? She acts like she is his aunt. Is she?
Back with Sam....on her return from her break/break up with Phil did she go back to Stuart as some fanfics have put or is that purely fiction - which I hope it is. Before Stuart asked to move in with sam/before she was pregnant, did Stuart know or guess that Phil was in love with sam?

On Stuarts arrival his (S) pushy side was obvious - the way he was taking over questioning, and offending Terry - ep 400-403; then Phil telling Terry Sam broke up with him (but not mentioning her name) ep 460 or 461, and I dont like that he muscled in on Suzi. Speaking of which, was Neil a mentor of sorts to Suzi? why wasnt there any romance there - because most of their scenes tht ive seen theyve seemed close. I also prefer Suzi to Kezia. And does Andrew Lancel have trouble opening his mouth? Ive noticed tht his lips barely open when he speaks.
And on her return, did Terry tell Sam how broken hearted Phil was/is? (as in trying to help the cause of getting them back).
Re what your about to see, im still optimistic that samphil will reunite,maybe get engaged/married or at the very least live together and he transfers. We all deserve it. Most especially the fans from 02 to 04 to 06. Because if you /we dont get a happy ending (of sorts(?) it will almost seem as if ITV got their ratings fraudulantly (by dangling the SamPhil carrot for over 4 years). A 4 week being together storyline isnt enough. Especially for the best romance story the show has had (from what Ive read).
Gina and Adam used to date, but not while they were at sun hill it was ages ago.
and Know Gina and Smithy arent related, i think she just likes to look after him and acts quite mumsy towards him

(we here only stated your 07 eps 10 days ago). I am not a fan of this huge drawn out pause of SamPhil - and not happy that she didnt give him much of a chance to prove his love/committment to her. Being in Oz I read the forums so know the gist/basics of whats happening in the UK.
I also dont like that Sam Stuart were an actual couple and lived together but SamPhil didnt.:(
