Rishi did not lie he just did not tell the whole truth, and he did that with good intentions. The situation with Jai's adoption was not the same as a childless couple adopting a child, in that case I think the child should be told at some point. Georgia had an affair resulting in her becoming pregnant, if Jai had known this, his attitude towards his mother might have changed, once the genie was out the bottle, too late to try and put it back in.

I read it was not his choice to go, that he got a phone call asking him to come in, and he was told they were killing him off, and he was not particularly happy about it.

Wondering if Jai will blame, or part blame, Georgia for Rishi's death, for having the affair that caused the adoption saga in the first place?

My point is that if you adopt a child, the previous parent(s) are no longer parents and that includes any natural parent. Soaps always get this wrong.

Ambulances are for the living. Rishi should have been removed to the mortuary by an undertaker.

I hope that Jai has a nice honeymoon.

Would this only be the case if the mother, Georgia, relinquished parental responsibility? If she did not, would she still not legally be his mother?
