You may be right, but in that case I think it is badly written. Would she drive to Emmerdale to confront Dan in front of a pub full of people, or would she stay at the hospital or go home and keep her head down? This is certainly been written for drama but I am not sure how real it is.

I know what your'e saying, but sometimes rational people get so incensed about being fooled by someone they love that they just cannot believe they were so easily manipulated into trusting them.

I agree with what you say, but I felt the scene in the pub was a step too far. If she had said the same things to Dan in another setting, it would have been OK if she had said them at the hospital. But for her to have made the effort to go to the pub and take the photos just seemed over the top to me. People can be different things to different people, everything she said could be true. His behavior towards Amelia could be a first time, one off, or he could have a history of behaving like this, we do not know and if he dies we never will.

I do not think he will die as this would probably mean that Dan would down for a long time, so unless the actor wants to leave this is unlikely. On the other hand it would be difficult to prove intent as it was the rock that caused the damage. If Lloyd had not hit that, the police would probably not even been called.

I have to admit I did laugh the way Lloyd fell down in slow motion.

I got the reason that Marlon dropped the baking tray was because of the weight of it, not because it was hot. Someone of his experience would expect it to be hot, which is why he used the tea towel.

I don't think he will die either. I think it's highly likely he has done this before. When he was goading Dan he said of Amelia, there's plenty more where she came from. Maybe some other girl will hear about it and come forward. Or maybe his wife will find out and shop him. Either way I think Dan will survive it.
