Whose bag was it that was knocked over with Dotty scuffling with the policewoman, was it Dotty's or the policewoman herself?
I think soon we'll have to shorten the credits...Keegan, then he's called Keeg, and on Monday he was called Kee. Soon it'll be like The Prisoner, with everyone having a number.
how can ian afford the vic for sharon
For that matter how can Phil, even with the proceeds from some of his dodgy activities. That scabby garage of his certainly is not exactly teeming. The place I take my car to is in a medium sized town and is always bustling, Mitchells garage is in London and you would think it was in the middle of the Scottish Highlands or the Yorkshire moors or whatever with the traffic it gets.
Yes, especially as he doesn't seem to be able to afford a dishwasher.
Incidentally, they seem to manage to get contracts and all the necessary documents drawn up and signed with remarkable speed in Walford. They should share their secret with the rest of the country.
Yes, she needs to have a licence to be able to sell alcohol. She has to apply for the licence and go on a course to be able to qualify for the licence.
And that is apart from all the conveyancing of the premises and the business, which would normally take several weeks.
All this would also have applied of course to Phil just swanning in and buying the pub.
Phil's face was priceless, but again we are back to the "This is Phil Mitchell we're talking about", "We don't want to make an enemy of Phil" and all that nonsense.
I was happy to hear Callum saying it would be nice if Phil didn't just always get his way.
I can sympathise with Billy with the way Mitch is constantly needling him, but at the same time it's what he wants, to trigger a response.
The Mitch/Billy fight was embarrassing. The episode was not great but the ending was brilliant. Sadly we have to wait until the earliest late Summer more likely early Autumn.
Will viewers come back? who knows. Duff Duff Duff Duff
I do not understand Karen and Mitch's relationship, is it "open" ?
Sharon has the Vic and her son Kayden back
Where is Shirley and Tina moving to?
I enjoyed the Secrets From The Square more than the Emmerdale lockdown ep wtih Chas and Dave, sorry Paddy. :D
Den and Angie two hander 1986
This was 1986 and back then when this aired everybody including myself thought this was the best thing since sliced bread. Anita and Leslie were not only the King and Queen of EastEnders but the King and Queen of soap and if there had been The British Soaps Awards in 1986 Anita and Leslie would have swept the board, no question. This was the first two hander, ground breaking and had never been done before.
EastEnders really did shake things up, Coronation Street was still looking old and dated as though it was set in the early 1970's, (although I loved it) Emmerdale Farm was a poor version of The Archers, Crossorads was going through it's glossy (on a budget Dallas stage) and lost it's identity, both soaps were facing the axe and Brookside was the only realistic, natural soap, portraying real working class lives.
The 1986 episode does not stand the test of time that well, the script is good, the acting by Anita very theatrical and I did struggle to hear Leslie at times and had to turn the volume up. I thought the set looked fantastic and loved how dowdy and deralic looking the Vic was.
I am not sure it is a good idea to air classic episodes, well not as far back as the 80's, but it is part of EE glorious History, as are the King and Queen of the Vic Den and Ang. (Not Peggy as many may think!) My favourite actor/actress from this period was Wendy Richard.
It makes me appreciate what we have now, even in it's current state, warts and all.
I remember when I first started watching Eastenders, it was the whole Ricky and Sam eloping to Gretna Green to get married. Peggy wasn't even played by Barbara Windsor then.
Loved secrets from the square with Letitia and Adam. They are funny in real life. So Steve Mcfadden broke the Caf till and it has not been repaired. Budget cuts. :D
This series has been a nice easy watch and very enjoyable. I loved the stories of Julia Smith getting a flannel and wiping make up of faces and sending actors home for misbehaving. It seems a really happy cast.
So we are back tomorrow 8:05 pm.

go on dotty, many tangoed faces from lockdown tanning
It's all very well, Bobby lecturing Ian about the need to wash his hands, but maybe he should do it properly himself. While berating Ian, he washed his own hands for less than five seconds. Not good enough, Bobby; 20 seconds at least.
I think it's Stacey stealing money from Ruby.
mick sure loves pink, is that kush flat him and linda are in?
I think so.
