Rihanna's father has accused Chris Brown of being "in denial" after the R&B star pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from an alleged altercation with the popstar earlier this year.

Appearing at an LA court yesterday, Brown, 19, denied charges of assault and making criminal threats in relation to an alleged attack on Rihanna in February.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Ronald Fenty said: "So what happened? Somebody else did this to Rihanna then? I just would like to see justice go in the right direction... If he’s not guilty, who did it? He should say 'guilty' and let the court be leaning into him and try himself to the mercy of the court, see if he gets a fine."

He added: "I don't want his career to be damaged - it’s damaged already. I think he’s a talented guy, but everybody should have to pay. When you do the crime, you do the time. I don't want to see him locked up for a long time - I just want him to acknowledge and get some help."

Brown's preliminary hearing has been delayed from April 15 until April 29, although Rihanna's lawyer has admitted that the singer would prefer to reach a court settlement rather than go to trial.

Boyzone star Ronan Keating has spoken about a recent cancer scare, warning other men to seek medical advice if they fear they could have testicular cancer.

The singer made the comments during an interview on BBC's 'Newsnight', saying that he was "a mess" when he feared he may have cancer.

Keating said that he was on holiday when he discovered a lump and decided to seek medical advice.

The singer said: "I found a lump, I panicked I called my doctor and he said: 'Listen, relax, don't worry about it - as soon as you get home, get it checked'."

"So I did, and it was fine, a small cyst almost, very regular. But you know, for those two weeks on holidays I was a mess."

Keating and members of his family set up the Marie Keating Foundation, in honour of the singer's mother, who died after a battle with breast cancer.

The foundation aims to provide women with information and services to promote the early detection and prevention of breast cancer.

Angelina Jolie has collapsed between takes on the set of her new movie, an unnamed source has claimed.

There had been fears that the actress had not been eating properly as she sought to get fit for her role in Salt, Now reports.

The source said: "It all got too much for Angelina. She collapsed between takes, complaining of shortness of breath and dizzy spells.

"To be fair, it was after she'd filmed a strenuous scene in which she ran around the set, but it was still shocking to see her crumble."

They added: "There was something very wrong with her fitness levels if she couldn't handle a couple of action scenes."

Last month, it was claimed that producers were forced to have a "discreet word" with the star because of her allegedly dramatic weight loss.

It is not that long that she had twins, she should not push herself so hard, her kids need a fit mother, not one that starves herself to look good in a movie.

Enrique Iglesias has revealed that a fan once sent him a used tampon.

The singer told thelondonpaper that he was not overwhelmed by the attention he receives from female fans because he grew up watching his father Julio going through the same thing.

Iglesias said: "I don't know about the sauciest, but I can tell you the strangest thing [someone sent me]. A fan once sent me a used tampon. That was pretty original.

"What did I do with it? I framed it! No, I'm kidding. Of course I didn't frame it! It went straight into the bin."

He added that he did not mind when fans grabbed him in inappropriate places during concerts, even when his gay fans "squeeze".

The singer said: "I did my first gay club here in the UK, at G-A-Y and it was wild. Looking out from the stage at 2,000 men and hardly any women was weird from me, but that crowd was one of the best ever.

"Talk about grabby! But I just went with it - I'm not insecure."

The couple, who announced their separation last year, have decided to give their relationship another chance.

"We're working s**t out, I admit it. She's just totally normal and low-key," Hart told The Sun.

The pair fuelled speculation of a reconciliation when they spent New Year together at Hart's Las Vegas club.

Pink met motocross racer Hart during the 2001 X Games in Philadelphia. They married in Costa Rica on January 7, 2006.

Lindsay Lohan's grandmother is delighted the actress has split from girlfriend Samantha Ronson, and she's urging the Mean Girls star to reach out to her extended family as she deals with the break-up.

Marilyn Lohan insists her granddaughter should never have been dating the DJ in the first place, and now the actress' entire family is keen to help her as she gets back to single life.

The worried gran tells People.com, "We'd all like to reach out to her. We're all here for her and we'd love to see her. Me, as a grandmother, I'd like to try and help her out, but she's not here (in Long Island), she's in L.A.

"I think she needs her family in her life, but they're not. They should be. I haven't seen her in over a year. I don't know what happened. I'm heartbroken."

And Grandma Lohan insists her granddaughter's fast rise to the top in Hollywood was her eventual downfall: "What happened is that it was too much too fast. And she was on her own too early. She was too young.

"They get into that party scene. It's very hard for them."

Movie bosses have spoken out to dismiss rumours Angelina Jolie collapsed on the set of new movie Salt - calling the reports "not true".

The actress is currently shooting the thriller in New York and was recently reported to have fallen ill during filming - prompting internet gossips to speculate about the state of her health.

But a representative for Sony, the studio behind the film, has vehemently denied the stories, telling UsWeekly.com, "I can confirm that those rumours are in fact not true."

Comedian and TV host Lennie Bennett has died, aged 70.

The Lucky Ladders presenter failed to recover after a fall at his home in Thornton, near Blackpool.

Bennett - real name Mike Berry - was famed for partnering Jerry Stevens on the BBC's Lennie And Jerry Show. He also presented Punchlines and Celebrity Squares.

Blackpool-based comedian Frank Carson paid tribute to the star. He told the Blackpool Gazette: "Lennie was an absolutely wonderful fellow and we had lots of laughs together.

"He was a very funny comedian and a very good performer."

Sarah Michelle Gellar and her husband Freddie Prinze Jnr are expecting their first child, reports People.

An unnamed source reportedly told the celebrity website that the couple are "very excited" about the pregnancy.

In a recent interview with Gotham magazine, Gellar said of becoming pregnant: "When we do have children, my husband and I will have such a strong foundation because we've given our relationship time to grow."

David Caruso reportedly faces a lawsuit after his ex-lover filed legal papers against him.

The CSI: Miami star is being sued by Lisa Marquez over allegations that he did not provide her with financial support.

Marquez claims that she agreed to be a stay-at-home mother in return for Caruso providing for her and their children.

Caruso allegedly agreed to give his ex $1 million after their relationship ended in 2007, but Marquez said that she has not seen any of the money.

According to TMZ, she has filed legal papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court and is suing for fraud, breach of settlement agreement and emotional distress.

Last month, a woman accused of stalking Caruso was deported to Austria.
