This week has been brilliant, Emma Rigby shone tonight and has done throughout this entire storyline IMO. Her acting used to be very dodgy when she first joined the show but she's made a massive improvement these past few months and has really done this current storyline justice. Well done Emma and well done to Hollyoaks for portraying this issue with sensitivity.
It was brilliant i also thought Suzanne Hall was good tonight, she has'nt been my favourite character in the past but she was really good tongith and last night. It was really well handled especially all the music with the scenes in the hospital and Melissa couldnt even but her make up on. It showed how unattractive anarexia is.
just caught up with the past couple of weeks. hollyoaks has been great recently. warrens trial was good, especially fridays epi and i liked how nancy without knowing it persuaded mercedes to be a witness. im liking how the anorexia storyline is going as well, cant believe how hannah did that to gilly but then at the same time i feel sorry for her. i thought the scenes at the hospital were really good, it really shows the dreadful effects of the illness. cant wait to see this weeks epis
The scenes at the hospital were really amazing - it was very sad indeed that Melissa's illness has grown so bad that she can't even apply her own make up as she is so weak. :(
Hannah breaking down in front of Suzanne was great too - Emma Rigby and Carla Chases deserve an award for playing out this storyline so well.

haha well said! Loving hollyoaks at the moment, it's so addictive! I really want to find out how the anorexia storyline turns out, the people who play Hannah, Melissa and Suzanne are really good actors :)
the end scenes yesterday with melissa and hannah in the hospital were really well done, you can see how desperate melissa is to keep not eating and be in control, it really shows the devastating lengths that they will go to
Tonights episode is brilliantly done, i watched in on E4. The acting was fantastic. Its got to get some sort of award.
yeah i saw it too the actors involved did a fantastic job,
i agree, the end part was really well done and the acting was fab. when melissa first came into it and persuaded hannah to stop eating i thought she was evil and maybe even that she wasnt really starving herself, but from yeterdays epi when they were trying to escape from the house and got caught, you could see how desperate melissa was and how she actually believed what she was doing was right
