One thing I have always thought a bit strange is the lack of cars in this day and age that come down Coronation Street and adjacent roads. And then, blow me down, wouldn't you know it, just at the exact moment Daniel drops Sinead's ring into the road a car comes along. What's the chances, eh?
How come that Hope suddenly does not seem to like Jade so much? Or is she faking it and still plans to run away with Jade??
Bethany moving to London for an internship? How will she afford to live? Many internships do not pay and those that do, don't offer much. If Daniel had went with her how would they have managed with Daniel, if he went to work could they afford a babysitter, if he stayed at home, how would they pay the rent and buy food? - Perhaps the streets really are paved with gold.
Are we heading for a Daniel, alcoholic story, he is drinking a lot, and Eastenders have one? So often now Soaps seem to share or copy ideas.
I always find it amusing soaps have people and indeed families living on the breadline but they can always afford to drink at the pub.
She might have savings that will enable her to stay in a B&B for a while ..Most of the time, soap characters leave without a clear future career unless they are pensioners or get killed off. Think viewers should just wish them good luck and maybe see them again one day .. :)
And buy cups of tea and coffee from the cafe when they only live across the road and could easily go home and make it cheaper. This is even worse in Eastenders.
I wouldn't be surprised if Alya has it wrong about the dodgy reviews, I think it's more likely that Geoff will be writing them. Also, since Alya is a co-owner she should tell Geoff to stick his imperious attitude where the sun does shine, he talks to her like she's nothing more than an employee.
Fiz said Jade was not right in the head, like father like daughter, her daughter Hope has the same father as Jade
I think that Kirkie should be concerned about Beth going with Daniel
Windass is still a very nasty piece of work and Baldwin was out of order confiding in him.
One of life/soaps great mysteries - When Daniel dropped the wedding ring it was bright and shiny, after the car ran over it it was dull and discoloured - gold a metal that is resistant to corrosion. - Bent, Yes, discoloured, No - sometimes less is more.
Did they really have to rush Daniel off that night? It was already getting late in the evening and he still had to get packed, sort Bertie out while Beth also had to get packed and make arrangements for her absence and then they had at least a three hour drive up to Scotland, maybe more, depending what part of Scotland this retreat is in. Also, once they got there, Beth had to then look for suitable accommodation for herself and Bertie. Wouldn't early the next day have been better!?
Loved the scenes with Roy and Nina. He has plenty of friends and honorary family members on the street, including Carla of course, but now he's finally found an actual relative who shares his eccentric hobbies. Nina might actually get on better with adults than with other teenagers; indeed after having to look after her father and shoulder a lot of responsibilities she might even find teenagers very superficial. I also like her awkward relationship with Carla who, as a character, needs a younger person to look after to bring out new aspects of her personality. Even if she moves in with Peter eventually I hope they don't forget about this little "family".
Roy and Nina are great together and with Carla too, a nice family unit
I've no idea why he feels the need to teach Ali a lesson when he's "won" (i.e about to marry Maria). And if he's that angry about Maria sleeping with Ali why doesn't he just dump her, like Sharon suggested? Either that or just get over it.
Loved the Roy/Carla/Nina scenes once more - good for Roy standing up for his niece after a lifetime of knowing what it's like to feel "different". In fact why don't the writers just forget about the other plots and give the three of them an episode to themselves?..
Why was Billy hosting the awards ceremony and how does he have the time?
no sign of michelle or ryan's real parents to see ali in hospital from his spiked overdose, is ryan his next of kin
ken should pick eccles and his home over claudia
I am shocked that Ali managed to beat up the trained killer Windass
Who's the biggest villain, Geoff, Gary, Claudia or the Bat Society?
