I know how you feel Abbie. My sister gave me a card today that she designed herself and I was in tears as it was so lovely. She drew a picture of me and her and a heart and then wrote "To David, have a good time, try your best, make lots of friends. I will miss you so much" then put loads of kisses round it.
I've started packing today and went to see my nan and auntie to say goodbye until probably Christmas.
I need to start packing tomorrow =S
I've just been to Tesco. I've missed late night/early morning taxi rides to buy loads of things I don't need :p
Changed my course today so I'm now doing Forensic Investigation. Slightly apprehensive about it but I need something more challenging than my previous course.
Clubs and society fair tomorrow so I'm going to sign up to the law society and the trampolining club.
I went to our Fresher's fair today. They had a buckaroo, climbing wall and one of those bouncy castle elastic rope catch the plastic square thing. :lol: And some stunt bike guy. Hmm. Was so hot though...and was full of promotors handing out cards. Only good things were the vouchers. MacDonalds's and best of all Dominoes - which expires in June! :D We are getting pizza on Sunday. :p
I Met two girls from my secondary school/college today at the freshers fair! We were never really friends but still very random I had no idea anyone from my college was going to UWE!
Got a couple of guys from my course are coming round Saturday I think, none of us are going to Allstars (£20 event). One is going to a birthday party but nonetheless have some company for part of the evening. We are ordering pizza lol. Maybe watch a film and see if anyone else in the court is having a party. :)
May watch Mock the Week and then go to bed now.
I loved fresher week when I was at Uni.. I once came away with 100 pot noodles :rotfl:
100 pot noodles? :eek: We're lucky to get a couple of tins of beans and some condoms. Though you could argue which are more useful to a student.
They were giving away boxes of tampons in one of those mixed giftbags. :lol:
Mainly just keyrings and stuff like that though.
I think it was just a big pot noodle promotion that week and nobody wanted them.. we got the usual tampons, condoms and cheap beer plus a million pens from different stands... (I think in my 4 years at Uni I collected about 100 pens)Quote:
