Radcliffe gets SAS bodyguard protection
Daniel Radcliffe has been given four SAS bodyguards to protect him from a stalker, say reports.
The Harry Potter star is receiving similar protection to Princes William and Harry when they are off military duty, claims The Sun.
Warner Bros bosses received a threat against Radcliffe and have boosted security levels on the set of the new Potter movie, offering the actor a chase car that follows him around when he's travelling.
"There is a real concern for Daniel’s welfare. The bigwigs haven’t said what has been going on. It’s all hush-hush - but security has been massively ramped up," said a source.
On the subject of the SAS guards, the insider added: "They are all experts in evasive driving, threat assessment and close protection. This isn’t about keeping an eye out for the paparazzi - these guys are looking for something far more sinister.
"Daniel has the four guards with him at all times, as well as a new driver. When he travels they use dummy cars and swap vehicles."
Co-star Emma Watson increased her personal security team last year after she was confronted by a stalker in her school.
Jamie Oliver chef found dead in woods
A chef hired by Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen restaurant has been found hanging from a tree 18 months after joining Oliver's scheme.

He was among 21 young cooks selected for the chef's training programme for troubled youngsters in May 2006.
But he dropped out after two months with "severe depression" and went on to commit offences including burglary and assault.
His dad Robert, 39, said: “We were proud when he joined Fifteen. He said it was a chance to turn his life around.
"But after a couple of months, he started to get restless and ran away. We didn't see him for a couple of months.
"And the past year he has been like a lost soul. He has been suffering from depression. He was a troubled lad. I'm sure he wasn't proud of things he was involved in."
Fifteen boss Dave Meneer said staff were “devastated” by the news.

Clarkson in car phone investigation

Adam Blake and Hayley Byford claim they saw Clarkson on the phone as he sped down the M40 in Oxfordshire in a 1970s V8 600 Grosser Mercedes.
Blake told the newspaper: "We could not believe that we'd caught him out. I used to watch him every week on Top Gear and he was always banging on about the new driving laws. My girlfriend saw he was on his mobile. She grabbed hers and took a picture of him."
The couple handed over the photo to the paper, who printed it before passing it on to the police.
"We are taking this matter very seriously and will be collecting all the available evidence to see whether there is a case to answer," a police spokesman said.
"We are grateful to The Mirror for passing the photograph to us. It will now be examined by road safety officers as part of the investigation."
The paper claimed it later confronted Clarkson with the picture, to which the motoring presenter replied: "Er, that isn't a phone."
The 47-year-old then allegedly said: "Look, I write a column for another newspaper. I'm not allowed to talk to you."

Johnny Depp steps in to finish Heath Ledger film
Work on Heath Ledger's last film, suspended due to his death by accidental overdose in January, has resumed after three Hollywood stars agreed to play his character, director Terry Gilliam said on Monday.
Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law will step in to complete Ledger's unfinished role in the movie "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus," portraying various incarnations of his character, but Ledger's presence in the movie will also be maintained.
"Since the format of the story allows for the preservation of his entire performance, at no point will Heath's work be modified or altered through the use of digital technology," the film's producers said in a statement.
"Each of the parts played by Johnny, Colin and Jude is representative of the many aspects of the character that Heath was playing," they added.
Gilliam said filming on the British-Canadian production, due for release next summer, had resumed in Vancouver "with the blessing and support of Heath Ledger's family."
Ledger had just finished shooting scenes for the movie in London before his death. Newspapers have reported that the story involves a magical mirror that takes people into different dimensions, allowing Gilliam to switch between actors.
"I am delighted that Heath's brilliant performance can be shared with the world," Gilliam said. "We are looking forward to finishing the movie and, through the film, with a modicum of humility, being able to touch people's hearts and souls as Heath was able to do."
"The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" is described as a modern-day fantasy adventure and has a budget estimated at $30 million.

Speaking to The Sun, Dec said: "The shows are an important part of our history so we wanted to take over the rights. That way, if anyone wants to show them, they have to come to us to get permission."
A friend of the presenters revealed that they were eager to purchase the rights to stop digital channels repeating their old shows.
"It's no secret that Ant and Dec are hugely popular so re-running Byker Grove would make sense. But it could prove a bit embarrassing for the guys with their past on such public display."
The shows will now become property of Ant & Dec's Gallowgate Productions TV company.
