In the next episode, Sally broaches the subject of marriage with Flynn and a fierce row ensues. Sally is devastated to think that Flynn doesn't want to get married but Flynn has a surprise up his sleeve. Later, in tears of happiness, Sally accepts Flynn's proposal.
16:30 - Sally and Flynn's Wedding (2003)
Sally's big day arrives in the following episode. She is set to marry the love of her life but can she make it to the church on time? At the church, the guests wonder if Sally has changed her mind, but Flynn remains calm - he knows that Sally will turn up. Meanwhile, Sally and Leah are lost, their dresses are dirty and their shoes are broken - will Sally make it to her own wedding?
17:00 - Flynn's Cancer (2005)
Sally plans a surprise break to Italy for her and Flynn in the next instalment, unaware that Flynn has received some devastating news - his mole was cancerous. After some tests, Dr Matthews explains that the cancer has spread to his liver. Flynn breaks the news to Sally and they both crumble, fiercely aware that the life they should have been looking forward to is destroyed forever.
17:30 - Flynn's Cancer Part 2 (2005)
The following episode sees Sally and Flynn struggling to come to terms with his cancer. Sally breaks down while Flynn tries to remain strong, for her sake. They agree not to tell their children before they've had time to deal with it themselves, although Alf soon realises that something is dreadfully wrong.
18:00 - Flynn's Death (2006)
The residents of Summer Bay are shocked when they realise that Flynn has only hours left to live. Sally lies down next to her husband, both aware that the end is drawing near. The silence is broken by Flynn's request to see the kids. Later, Flynn expresses his last wish - to dance with Sally one more time. As the sun rises, Flynn slips away.
18:30 - Flynn's Funeral (2006)
Four days have passed since Flynn's death, Sally lost in her reverie as the others prepare themselves for the funeral. It's time for Summer Bay to say goodbye to a friend, in their own special way.
im not enjoying the whole naomi storyline they have. they are not giving anyone a real chance to mourn beth and nice guy tony has become mr unpopular to all the kids and its hard to believe that tony would turn to someone like naomi within a month of the death of beth.
whereas instead of true grief the kids are overcome with anger also

I agree Shaza. Tony wouldn't do that. I know he's mourning and all.. but I was hoping that Matilda and Kit would look to him as a father sort of thing, but after this that won't be happening. And there's always something up with Lucas.. I like Lucas's character, but I prefer him as nice Lucas.

How would you feel if your husband's ex girlfriend and baby lived next door to you and he replaced your pic with a pic of them?? Plus you really wanted a baby for ages and originally your hubby said NO WAY but found out he was sterile, then up pops ex with baby in toe.. It was Rachel that wanted kids,not Kim and look how he is with Archie now, like nothing else matters to him.
I think Rachel should just leave him and run off with Hugh

It's kinda obvious that Kim isn't in love with Rachel as much anymore - he likes Kit. Or at least that's how I see it. He does put Kit first all the time, not Rachel, I don't know how Rachel has lasted this long being second best.
Sure he's annoyed/upset about Archie moving away, but I think he's also upset that Kit won't be there either.
I can kind of see the point that Kim made about it not being fair on either child if he has to travel to see both of them. Neither of them would have as much time with him as they would do if Archie was living in Summer Bay. But I do think that was an excuse not the real reason.
i did feel kinda sorry for kim when he was trying to explain how he felt about the situation to rachel, and when rachel was saying about kim being all for the idea of having a baby, and then changing his mind i think that was a bit of an exaggeration as kim was sort of rail roaded into the idea of having another baby,
I think Kim should have been honest with Rachel as soon as she mention the idea of trying. It's not fair on Rachel, getting her hopes up, then seem to be changing his mind. It's his fault really. Even if Rachel had gone off on one, she would have been better off in the long run, and him.
yeah even if he was only feeling just a little overwhelmed when she mentioned it why didnt he just say he wanted to think about it rather than just say yes to keep her happy and quiet its never the way for an easy life
i watched the bank holiday special episodes of sally and flynn a love story today on five live, i really shouldnt have though because when it came to the cancer ones and when he dies then the funeral i cried like a baby,
I totally forgot about it and then started watching it but I only caught the last 2 which made me cry loads even though I didnt watch it back now, I really am quite sensitive
Just got to see the episode you guys saw on Friday.. How selfish was Kit?? Kim and Rachel have a right to start a family, they are married so she puts a stop to it by leaving!! I couldn't ever see Rachel or Kim treating Archie as second best.. especially not Kim cause Archie is his and Rachel's baby will be with a donor...
Kim still doesn't want this child so why leave Rachel dangling?? You could see on his face he was having second doubt even after his talk with Hugh and telling Rachel he wanted a baby...

Just saw last night the bit where rachel told kim about hugh... I don't know what is going to happen with them next but I bet Kim uses this as the reason he needs to be with Kit.. Oh rachel cheated on me so I am going to be with my son and his mother!! Rachel made a mistake, she has been pushed aside so many times and resisted Hugh so many times unlike Kim who has kissed Kit 3 times since the baby was born..
He has lied to Rachel too, and rachel at least had the courage to tell him to mend their relationship
