Usually, If I do something in my book and then type it out, it's not that boring, but even typing this bloody thing out bores the hell out of me! :crying:
abblette, its a new thing they are bringing into my school - i feel so sorry for them all!!!
i never did science modules when i did gcse, just 3 papers (chemistry, physics and biology) in the june. my sis did the modules though
I finished my first page in my art book today! :cheer:
The teacher made me give it in yesterday, which I didn't wanna do 'cause then she'd be able to see how little I've done, but I made a deal with her today that I would finish a page if she let me take it home. AND I was true to my word! :D I'm gonna have to give it in tomorrow, though. :(
It wasn't that much, it was a transcription of a Frida Kahlo still life, I'd done the main part of the picture (coloured in with oil pastels), I just needed to colour in the background, but still - it's progress.. :o
But my brother annoyed me by telling me to just get on with my 'stupid drawing' when I told him to shut up with his commentary of I'm a Celeb. Just because it's not something of his the selfish git thinks its not important! Sometimes I could gladly throttle him.
And I've still got that 'An Inspector Calls' Essay to do.
But, apart from that, every thing's rosy. :D
Does anyone else have their controlled coursework exam tomorrow? I'm sort of dreading it, but not as much as the modules. Really don't think I'll finish it; I'm not allowed extra time, so I just get rest breaks. :( I can't believe I'll have half a science GCSE by this time tomorrow.
You'll have done half your exam?! Its so different to what I've been doing...what do you have to do?
I've got my mocks in the next two weeks, I'm dreading them. I'm really nervous about the Maths and History, and I haven't done anywhere near enough art. I can't wait to leave school!
Yeah, but that's the year 10 one. We have to do another Science GCSE in year 11. I think it's stupid that you have a whole GCSE by the end of year 10, but the school believes that it is good because you can get different grades in themQuote:

I had a maths assessment today, i did really rubbish in it and i revised! Oh well, i guess it's not the end of the world!
It was so unfiar today we an hour and a half science test whcih no one told us about.
Had mocks all week. 3 a day, but now finished!!!
I think i did alright, some were hard, like safe to say i have failed science
Just the real things to look forward now, but obviously i will revise more for those :p
I had my Science coursework exam today, and it was totally easy. It's annoying though as they didn't provide enough space to write the answers, as I have to write quite big or it hurts. So I was on a separate piece of paper on one of the questions. I think I wrote 1/11/2006 as the date; oops.
did you get around to revising for the mocks then? :pQuote:

& i got around a middle/high C in my first maths paper - i think. Which is pants  Considering like i am predicted an A* (apparantly!)
I've got mocks over the next two weeks and I'm really bad at revision...anyone got any tips? :)
I've actually got half my mocks in December and half of them in January. I got my drama, french oral and geography mock this month! Geography mock next Friday actually! Oops better start revising now!
I am really dreading the French Oral. I cannot speak in a French accent. I feel ridiculous when I try.Quote:

Don't panic, Clo, says serial panicer, concentrate on one subject or subject area a day; when you think you know it, try writing it out from memory.
i just spoke with an english accent in my french oral and still managed to get an A in french for gcse so i wouldnt worry too much about itQuote:

I did that last week, stayed off of school on Monday to catch up, and then had to go and do part of my Science coursework during assembly on Wednesday. Just doing Media coursework - it's the longest piece of coursework I've ever had, and I'm well over the word limit and haven't even finished it. I just don't think I can cut it back drastically.
I still have RE coursework to give in that was due in july so... just finished all my french though so thats good and we only have one bit of english to do. My maths coursework is hopeless, I cant see myself ever getting it finished. My mocks start on monday and I cant wait its almost like a week off school lol, no lessons and hours sat in silence :)
Oh, OK, thanks. :)Quote:

My class has been the most disadvantaged in french because our teacher has been ill for 2/3 of the lessons we have had so far, and having cover for the rest. At least in todays lesson we had another french teacher to help us.Quote:

like i said - if anyone needs a hand with history gove me a shout

I'm feeling confident-ish about the written work, because the teacher is usually in, and she's quite good, but then again, we've only done the first piece so far.Quote:

My mocks are running over two months, December and January. I got my 1st mock this Friday, Geography, and i got my French oral on Wednesday 20th December, the same day as my Drama exam! I have learnt 1 conversation topic so far, but we've only wrote up 3 and we're meant to be learning 5 topics for the mock. :D
wow you must be finishing really late for xmas! everyone round here finishes on the 15th december!Quote:

Any chance of some history tips Bad Wolf? I've got my first History mock this week, its about the American West. Have you got any tips on how to answer the questions properly? My teacher hasn't really said much about how to answer detailed questions, and I'm hoping for a good mark, so if you've got any tips that would be great :)
got my ICT results today, got an A so I'm pretty pleased. Had English paper 1 and history today, the history was mostly about 1920's germany so that was ok. Got RE and English tomorrow so it will be a long day, I'm not looking forward to it
