god help me if one of us actually did get it, it would be I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!

she keeps telling me to be careful and avoid anyone who may have it and avoid place i can catch it! If im going to get it im going to get it, theres nothing i can do to stop it!

My Dad rang my Nan today to inform her that my Mum has caught what I've got off me.. and is still convinced it could be Swine Flu. :moonie:

Now that is quite scary, but there is the medication for it now.

I think if i actually knew someone with it then i might be more concerned but as of yet i dont, although my uncle was quarentined as they thought he had it but it was man flu.

same. i dont know anyone with it atm so i hopefully wont catch it off of anyone

The post-mortem of a GP who died after contracting swine flu has revealed that he died of natural causes.

Dr Michael Day, 64, who was a GP from Dunstable, died on Saturday after contracting the H1N1 virus.

Bedfordshire Police said that as a result there would not be an inquest into his death, as it was not caused by swine flu.

A post-mortem is still due for Chloe Buckley, six, from north west London who died after contracting swine flu.

Dr Day, who worked at the Priory Gardens health centre in Dunstable, died on Saturday in Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

Chloe, who died on Thursday at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, central London, had contracted the virus in the UK.

She attended St Catherine's School in West Drayton, north west London.

The school has closed early for the summer break following her death.

Her parents, Michael and Jacinta, released a statement saying they were satisfied with the medical care Chloe had received and asked to be left alone to grieve.

"We are obviously very distressed at the loss of our fun-loving baby girl.

"Nothing can replace her in our lives and we would plead with you to allow us to deal with our loss in private and without further intrusion.

"We are satisfied that the medical care Chloe received at all times was appropriate, and are disappointed with the stories that have been printed that suggest otherwise."

First case of swine flu in my town today.

Oh wow Davey have they been abroad. I'm worried about my neice catching it rather than anyone else in the family as she has underline health problems.

People with health problems will get the vaccine first. :)

Someone my dad knows told him her son has swine flu - two roads away from us. :ninja: The family are meant to be going to the Caribbean in a few days, Dr says if he is up to it he can go. I wouldn't want to be on that plane. :p

I'm not sure if they have been abroad. It's a teenage girl that has it though so I've heard.
