aww i sooo want to see this film!!!
thanks for the spoilers! it sounds great! can't wait to see it now! may have to go and see it before my friend comes back! ooooo!!!! :cheer: :D so exciting! hope they do more films like they said they might!
I can't believe you wanted to know what happen first, i saw it this afternoon and it was fab, didn't want it to end, so glad i'd not read anything about it before i saw it.
I ca't wait to see it. I love the line in the film when Charlotte screams and Miranda says and now I'm deaf.
so was the paper 'leak' saying one of the girls dies just a red herring? i didnt believe it as they wouldnt have let it slip into the papers and radio. i really want to see it but i feel its been over publicised being advertised every where every day every channel and raido station doing big competions so i dont think ill bother with it.
Aww man, thankfully i'd managed not to find out anything, so went it with just anticipation and hope for a good film. And wasn't disapointed i loved ever min, i laughed and i nearly cried, it seemed really long but i never got bored, i really should remember not to buy a drink as spent most the of time needing the loo, but didn't want to miss any of it!
I loved it!!! I did laugh a lot and did cry at some points. It was a great film. Ive only seen a couple of dozen epsiodes, i didnt watch it like I watch other series I just caught it now and then, but I loved the film
*fingers crossed* seeing this wednesday hopefully! if I had my way I'd have seen it last week, so excited about seeing it!!! :D
I think your going to love it, and it's will have been worth the wait.
saw it today, and OMG how long is it!?
not a bad film, enjoyable enough but it did drag, they could have made two movies out of that. can't really see how they'd do another one, without splitting up a happy couple.
what was the point of Jennifer Hudson's character? she could have been cut to make more space for Samantha, who was HILARIOUS.
omg when Charlotte pooed herself - the hardest i've laughed in ages!
I loved the fact it was long, I mean it is the last thing ever from Sex and City :D
:rotfl: Yeah lol that was sooo funny
I wanted to see this yesterday but my friend had never watched the show so didnt want to :crying: we saw What happens in vegas instead, I'll hopefully get to see this sometime though!
HBO has confirmed that a sequel to the Sex And The City movie is in the works.
Producers were rumoured to be making plans for a second film last December, before the first was released.
They are now keen to capitalise on the success of the spinoff, which has made around £177.5 million at the worldwide box office.
HBO chief Michael Lombardo said: "There is enormous interest by Warner Brothers Newline to do another Sex And The City, and... they're trying with our help to put that together now."
Rapper P Diddy is thought to be in line for a role in the planned sequel.
Not too sure on this news! As much as i love the show, and liked the movie, i don't know if there's any need for another film.
Everything seemed to end nicely, with all loose ends tied up. What they going to do in another film apart from split up a couple or kill off one of the girls?
I'd rather the story end how it has, with each of the girls living happily ever after.
Yeah, Im not too sure on a second film
Bought it yesterday on DVD and watched it for the first time last night.
How amazing is that film please?!
It made me cry quite a few times too, expecially whenSpoiler:
Spoilers just in case ;)
I STILL havent seen it!
Its £8 from tesco
I watched it even though i hadnt saw any of the tv show, and i really enjoyed it
That's where I got it from :D
It's up to £13 in there now! I went today and saw it and was quite surprised tbh.
Chris you HAVE to get it!
SEX And The City 2: The Movie will DEFINITELY be hitting the screens soon, according to sources.
The stars of the hit TV show - Sarah Jessica Parker, 43, Kim Cattrall, 52, Cynthia Nixon, 42, and Kristin Davis, 43 - have all said they'll appear in the next film, which will follow on from last summer's blockbuster according to US Weekly.
The source said: "Not all the contracts are signed, but everyone is on board. It just happened."
It has previously been reported in The Sun that producers are keen to kill off one of the main characters but as yet have given no clues as to who it'll be, other than saying it'd be inpractical to bump off Carrie.
i hope they don't kill off any of the girls! I would actually cry! I think they would kill off one of the husbands! I suppose it'd be most dramatic for Charlotte to die, as she has two little babies, and she's just the loveliest little character. If they killed off Samantha I would actually burn my Sex and The City dvds in disgust!
its prob steve or big who they kill they cant kill any of the girls thats just wrong
I am sure I read somewhere that Big dies but can't remember where.
oh i hope they dont kill off big, although i cant see how another film would work without all the big drama now they married, unlesss its no so happy and that would be boring!!
they alsobetter not kill off samantha as i too will have to have a major strop and will burn my dvds along with bry!!
the only one i wouldnt miss, but i would just not a much would be miranda!!!
but i say kill off steve if anyone!!
I hope it meets up to the first one
it wouldnt be the same if they killed any of the girls
New Line Cinema has confirmed that work has started on a sequel to Sex And The City: The Movie.
Speaking to AP, a representative for the studio revealed that all four main cast members - Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon - had signed new contracts.
The announcement ends months of speculation about a possible follow up, after the original movie exceeded expectations by grossing over £280 million worldwide.
In a statement, writer/director Michael King said: "I'm very excited to work with these amazing actresses again and would love to give everyone more information about the sequel ... but I'm busy with my Sex life."
Filming is expected to begin this summer with a scheduled 2010 release date.
brilliant news! :D :D :D
wow it will be out next year! :D thats good
Sarah Jessica Parker has claimed that the sequel to Sex And The City: The Movie will be a "massive romp".
Speaking to Access Hollywood, the actress revealed that next year's follow-up would mark a significant departure from its more "mature" and "sophisticated" prequel.
"I think we want this one to be a romp. The last one, we got to tell a...story that had real heartbreak in it and this time, I think we want a romp," she said.
Parker added that it would challenging to script a story that was rooted in "luxury and labels" within the context of the current economic climate.
"There is a lot that we have to think about because times are very different," she said. "So these are nice challenges, these are good challenges."
However, the star refused to reveal any plot details, saying: "In a million years I’m not going to give you an indication. I want someone to show up that first weekend!"
Filming on Sex And The City 2 is expected to begin this summer with a scheduled 2010 release date.
Jennifer Hudson has admitted that she is eager to reprise the role of Carrie Bradshaw's assistant in the sequel to Sex And The City: The Movie.
The former American Idol winner starred as Louise from St. Louis in the big screen adaptation of the HBO series, which saw her character eventually leave New York for Missouri.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, she said: "I would love [to play her again]. I told [director] Michael Patrick King that Louise has moved back to New York from St. Louis, so… I’ll be ready if that opportunity comes."
Star and producer Sarah Jessica Parker has remained tight-lipped over the possible storyline, admitting only that it would be a "massive romp" that was likely to take account of the current economic climate.
Filming on Sex And The City 2 is expected to begin this summer with a scheduled 2010 release date.
In HMV the movie is £4 in the sale
Which version? One-disc or two-disc? Two-disc is so much better :)
And I'd like to see Louise in the sequel. It feels like she should be a regular character now.
