Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon has landed a role in the forthcoming West End production of Grease.
The actress has been told that she will play Rizzo, leader of the Pink Ladies, after impressing theatre producers with her performances on ITV1's Soapstar Superstar in January.
A friend told The Mirror: "Hayley is made up. This is just the kind of role she wanted."
Tamaddon is leaving Emmerdale this month after playing Delilah Dingle for two years.
I thought this would happen as i remember reading about it as one of the judges said he saw her in soapstar superstar and thought she would be perfect for the part.
I think she will be pretty good at playing Rizzo, she's not a bad singer as we saw on soapstars, think she'll be great in it.
Lol as soon as I saw this thread title I thought Rizzo and I think she'll be really good
Good Luck to Hayley I'm sure she will shine as Rizzo ( A much better part in Grease than Sandy).
thats rubbish...she was on this morning about her new role in Rocky Horror
Really? now I am confused, I know that Rocky horror is going on tour and that this grease doesnt open till august
