Upcoming Spoilers for Emmerdale
The last time Billy Hopwood set foot in Emmerdale, poor Vic Windsor ended up dead – and on Christmas Day!
So its no wonder that the news that the murderous convict is heading back to the village has sent his widow Viv, and daughters Donna and Kelly into turmoil.
But while Donna and Viv find themselves able to come to terms with the thought of Vic's killer returning to the scene of his hideous crime, Kelly can't.
Instead, bitter Kelly is going to go all out to ensure that Billy's stay in Emmerdale is as miserable as possible – by launching a vicious vendetta against him.
And while boyfriend Jimmy proves useless in assisting her crusade, there is another Emmerdale man who allows himself to be roped into Kelly's wicked schemes.
But the consequences of their actions could prove fatal to another village local. Has Kelly gone too far this time?
It's the New Year, and even Emmerdale's most badly behaved residents are looking to clean up their acts. And among those with plenty of vices to choose from is Woolpack landlady Val Lambert.
However, now she's enjoying fortune at work thanks to her business empire, and at home thanks to boyfriend Eric Pollard, the blonde bombshell decides to reform her character.
But trying to ditch her trademark cigarettes is going to prove very difficult for hooked Val – especially as her nearest and dearest pile on the pressure for her to give up.
So when her resolve slips and she sneaks a crafty fag in the pub, Val's horrified to be nearly caught out by Paul.
But not as horrified as she's going to be when her unextinguished smoke sets the entire pub on fire! Has Val wrecked her resolution and her livelihood in one fell swoop?
Finally, Val might be playing with fire, but that's nothing compared to Andy Sugden.
With his jailbird dad back in the village, the fed up farmer is at his wits' end. And it's not his wife Katie whom Andy is turning to in his hour of need.
Instead, Andy is getting closer and closer to his former flame Jo Stiles – even contemplating the idea of leaving his wife for the sexy secretary.
However, when he discovers that Katie may be pregnant with his baby, Andy's going to realise that getting out of his marriage isn't going to be as easy as he might have imagined.
And, adding to their collective misery is the fact that the warring spouses are unable to hold a civil conversation!
Can Katie and Andy find a way through their troubles, or has scheming Jo won her man after all?

Emmerdale Spoilers 23rd Jan 2007
There's plenty of drama ahead for the residents of Butler's Farm over the next few weeks – as Andy Sugden finally makes his choice between wife Katie or secret lover Jo Stiles.
So far, the feckless farmer has opted to stick with his blonde bride, but the temptation to throw it all away in favour of sexy Jo is proving to be hard to resist.
It doesn't help that relations between Andy and Katie have hit a real low in the face of her pregnancy worries. But there are some words of warning for Andy from the most unlikeliest of sources – his convict father Billy!
It seems that in just a few days, Billy has got the measure of manipulative Jo and he's convinced that if Andy goes for her, there will be nothing but heartache ahead. But with his feelings for her stronger than ever, is Andy about to make a decision he'll live to regret?
Elsewhere in Emmerdale, there's a new romantic dilemma for ageing Lothario Rodney Blackstock too. Ever since he called time on his relationship with the much younger Kelly Windsor, ‘Hot Rod' has kept his focus on trying to rebuild his decimated fortune.
However, that all changes with the arrival of newcomer Georgina – who catches his eye almost immediately. The problem is that Georgina has no idea that following his misfortune at the hands of the taxman, Rodney hasn't got two shillings to rub together.
And giving that his entire pulling routine usually revolves around showering the object of his affections with flash pressies, that could prove to be something of a problem! Can Rodney get by on his natural charm or will this latest love match end in disaster?
Finally, it's curtains for Dales dame Del Dingle. The kooky character is going to be departing the village this summer – but we're promised an explosive exit. Producer Kath Beedles has decided not to renew actress Hayley Tamaddon's contract but has promised not to kill off Del – leaving the door open for a comeback later down the line.
Rumours are already swirling about the exact nature of Del's leaving storyline. But a popular theory is that it'll have something to do with her hunky boyfriend David Metcalfe. We've already been promised a glimpse of David's dark side so could it be Del who suffers at the hands of the son of Pollard? We can't wait to find out!
