New residents for ramsay street.

There have been rumours about them in the press for a while now but on October 12th Ramsay Street is set to be rocked to its very foundations when four hot new residents move into No. 30. All of them are gorgeous. And all of them are hiding a secret.

We've got a sneak preview on the new characters, and the talented actors behind them.

Nicky Whelan plays Heidi "Pepper" Steiger, the daughter of everyone's favourite Senior Sergeant. She's a bubbly PE teacher who's set to get hearts racing in Erinsborough, and not just on the school athletics track. In real life Nicky has turned her hand to modelling and television presenting, proving a natural at both. Nicky's also incredibly business savvy; she co-owns a restaurant in Melbourne's Docklands.

Pepper arrives with her fiancé, professional gambler Frazer Yeats. However, there's something fishy about their relationship; Frazer has the hots for one of his new housemates... but it isn't Pepper. Tall, dark, handsome and mysterious to boot, Frazer is played by National Institute for the Dramatic Arts (NIDA) graduate Ben Lawson. Neighbours is Ben's first television gig but he's well known on the Sydney theatre scene. He also has family members with experience: younger brother Josh is one of the most popular contestants on comedy show "Thank God You're Here".

Natalie Saleeba is likely to be the most familiar face to viewers. An established actress, Nat has appeared in "The Secret Life of Us" and Australian favourites "All Saints" and "Stingers". She joins the cast already a Logie winner: she won Most Popular New Talent in 2005. Nat plays lawyer Rosetta Cammeniti, the straight laced sister of Carmella. Now that Carmella's trying out a new life as nun, perhaps it's time for Rosetta to play the rebel.

Final housemate Will Griggs is more than qualified to lend a hand. Will claims to be backpacking his way around the world but he has some expensive gear for your average traveller, and he doesn't seem keen to share too much about his background. Will is played by Christian Clark who is a former model and personal trainer. In his first interviews Christian teased that he planned on whipping his new cast mates into shape. He wasn't joking. There's been a noticeable improvement in everyone's eating habits and gym attendance since he arrived!
