Emmerdale's Paddy Dingle is left horrified next week as the truth about Ray Walters's murder starts to spread further around the village. Dylan Penders makes a risky move by letting April Windsor in on the secret - so how long can Paddy keep vulnerable Bear out of prison?
Feeling the pressure of his deceit, Dylan cracks and offloads to April about who's really responsible for bumping off Ray. Explaining how Bear accidentally strangled the dastardly drug dealer to death to save Paddy, Dylan is relieved to have shared the burden with somebody else - but Paddy is furious.
"April is now implicated," sighs Dominic Brunt, who plays Paddy. "If it all comes out, she can be done for withholding information from the police. And it's not just the fact it was supposed to be a secret between the three of them - will April want to tell Marlon and Rhona? It's yet more unravelling."
Once Dylan blabs, the atmosphere between him and disapproving Paddy is seriously strained. Bear feels even more unsettled as he picks up on the tension - and with emotions running high, he starts spiralling.
Exhausted April just wants this nightmare to end, so she suggests to Paddy that they come clean to the cops and tell them what happened - surely they'll understand?
"Paddy's not ready to go to the police," admits Dominic. "Bear is too ill, he's all over the place. Withdrawing from whatever drugs he was given has made him completely unstable.
"At the moment, Paddy is trying to save his dad from more psychological pain after what he's just been through."
Paddy shuts down April's idea, pointing out that it would look like they were all involved in a conspiracy.
With the hunt for Ray's killer making headline news, Bear becomes increasingly aware of the precarious situation they're all in - and that he is to blame.
Finding upset April, Bear tries to comfort the fragile teen as she admits she is worried she will eventually be charged with the crimes she was forced into committing.
Hearing April sharing her pain strikes a chord with Bear. After burying his guilt and being told to stay silent for weeks, Bear can't take it anymore and finally talks about ending Ray's life.
Supportive April insists Ray was a terrible person, but the mix of emotions is too much for Bear to cope with. Facing up to what he did, guilt-ridden Bear finally breaks down - but what will the consequences be?

Emmerdale favourite Robert Sugden declares war on the Tates next week, after he and his sister Victoria are pushed to breaking point by wicked Joe. Vic is already crippled with guilt over their plan to sell Butler's Farm to Joe, after he threatened to release footage of her killing her dangerous brother John, but a new discovery makes things much worse.
When Victoria learns that Robert went so far as to plant evidence on Moira Dingle ? which has since resulted in her being framed for double murder ? Vic is horrified?
"Victoria already hates herself for what she did to John, never mind the fact that she and Robert are now complicit in sending Moira down," shares our Emmerdale insider.
"Prior to discovering Robert's treachery, Vic considers confessing all to Cain about her role in John's death and the pressure she's under from Joe.
But the jaw-dropping revelation that Robert has helped to seal Moira's fate puts a spanner in the works?"
The hideous truth emerges as the authorities rule that John died by suicide. As Vic struggles with her guilt, Joe tightens his grip on Robert and pressures him to speed up the farm sale ? threatening to plant evidence of his own to incriminate Moira if Robert doesn't comply. However, as their clandestine conversation is taking place, Victoria overhears everything.
Disgusted by what she's heard, Victoria confronts Robert, who confirms that Joe would have thrown her to the wolves had he not planted Celia Daniels's damning documents at Moira's.
With that, Victoria attempts to stand up to Joe ? even declaring that she'll hand herself into the police to save Moira ? but she's out of her depth?
"Vic tries to stall Joe by taking the paperwork away with her to read, but he's having none of it," reveals our source. "He tells Victoria to deliver the signed contract with Moira's signature within six hours, or he'll hand the video of her killing John over to the police."
Defeated Victoria visits Moira in prison and reveals her wish to sell Butler's, claiming that the farm has become impossible to manage. The news is crushing for Moira, who has battled for so long to keep her beloved business afloat.
However, with very few options left, Moira eventually agrees to let go. But will she still want to sell up once she knows that the buyer's name is Tate?
It's just as Moira's about to sign on the dotted line that Vic reveals the identity of the farm's soon-to-be new owners, which is the icing on a very salty cake for Moira after years of batting off numerous attempts made by the Tates to get their mitts on her land.
However, even if Moira is at the point of admitting defeat, Robert isn't going down without a fight.
"The week ends with Robert on his knees in Annie's Field vowing not to be beaten," reveals our spy. "He's determined to restore the Sugden name to its former glory ? but will that mean going into battle with the Tates?
"If the old, wily Robert Sugden has anything to do with it, Joe had better watch his back?"

Emmerdale fans see the ghost of killer John Sugden finally laid to rest next week ? but not in the conventional way. As if Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle don't have enough to contend with as their feud with Joe Tate rumbles on, they're left with a big decision to make when John's ashes are delivered.
The pair are clueless over what to do with them, shedding no tears for Aaron's dangerous husband after he was killed by Victoria.
However, somebody who does have a very strong idea over how to proceed is Tracy Robinson ? Nate's widow ? who wants closure after John robbed her of her husband?
"Tracy spots John's remains and swipes them ? determined to avenge poor Nate," shares our Emmerdale insider. "Robert follows her, and winds up in a very tight spot indeed."
After Victoria realises the ashes are missing, she and Aaron find Tracy and Robert squeezed into a cubicle in the Woolpack loos ? with Tracy preparing to flush what's left of John down the toilet.
"It's fitting karma considering that John caused the slurry leak that contaminated half the village," points out our spy.
"Tracy will argue that it's the very least John deserves after killing Nate and dumping his body at the bottom of a lake.
"Robert's in a tricky position given his own hatred for John, but with Victoria guilt-ridden over ending his life, he'll be conscious that this will be very distressing for her. Will anyone be able to reason with Tracy?"
The frenzied, wide-eyed resolve in Tracy's eyes suggests not as she hovers gleefully over the toilet bowl, ready to do away with John.
Will John's legacy be lost to the Emmerdale sewers forever? Or will Tracy have a change of heart?
John's final scenes aired in the dramatic Corriedale crossover special last month, as Victoria acted in self-defence by giving him a fatal injection.
Since then, Victoria has been covering up the truth with support from Robert and Aaron – but Joe knows their secret and has been using an incriminating video as leverage against them.

Emmerdale airs another special standalone episode next week ? as April Windsor, Dylan Penders and Bear Wolf all take centre stage following their recent ordeals. Will some honest conversations help them to get closure?
Show bosses have announced that the episode airing on Friday 13 February focuses on the three victims of exploitation and modern slavery crimes, as they each wonder how they can move on with their lives.
In emotional scenes, April confides in her stepmum Rhona Goskirk, Dylan talks to his new father figure Paddy Dingle, while Bear speaks to his counsellor.
April admits that she thinks she deserves to be punished for the crimes she committed while under the control of Ray Walters and Celia Daniels. Rhona points out that April was a victim of manipulation, but the teen can't see it that way yet.
Dylan tells Paddy that he wants to leave the village, fearing that he's "cursed" after the events of the past year.
Bear also struggles with his guilt over killing Ray, but how much will he share with his counsellor?
Meanwhile, a separate clip from Monday 9 February shows Cain Dingle cross the line in his desperate efforts to save his wife Moira from a long prison sentence.
Cain manhandles Bear, wanting him to go to the police station and clear Moira's name. Dylan interrupts the tense showdown and quickly sends Cain packing.
Finally, a clip from Wednesday 11 February shows Joe Tate issue his final ultimatum to the Sugdens and Aaron Dingle.
