Next week on Casualty, Flynn faces his toughest task yet when the ED is subjected to an important spot inspection. Plus, Dylan discovers once and for all whether or not he is Matty?s dad, and Teddy teams up with his new romantic partner Ashley on an emergency call-out.

Here is our round-up of all the biggest moments coming up next week, in the latest episode of the current boxset, ?Learning Curve?.


1. Matty's call has consequences

After his first shift in the ED, Matty made an anonymous complaint to the CQC, highlighting the major problems in the hospital, his new workplace. He later realised that he had overreacted and panicked, desperately attempting to take back what he said.

But next week, Matty is horrified when he hears that the CQC have arrived in the department for a spot inspection.


2. Teddy and Ashley team up

Teddy met police officer Ashley while responding to a major incident, and the pair agreed to go for a drink together. Since then, things have been going well, and next week Jacob teases Teddy about the speed of his new relationship while on the way to a mental health emergency.

With Jacob treating someone else, Teddy tries to help a patient having a manic episode ? and PC Ashley arrives to help. Teddy and Ashley prove to make a good team, but things soon go seriously wrong. What will unfold?


3. Flynn and Siobhan take charge

Flynn and Siobhan spooked by an unexpected visit from CQC inspector Ceri Mayland. She tells the pair that she is here to do a spot inspection in the ED, after the potentially avoidable death of patient Claude in the reception area. Flynn is keen to make a good impression, frantically tidying up his disorganised office.

But Siobhan, Dylan and Stevie stress to Flynn the importance of the outcome of this inspection, and what a bad result could mean for the hospital. Will the team pull together to pass this surprise test?

4. Dylan gets answers

Flynn forces Dylan to work with Matty in resus during the inspection, but Dylan is unhappy and tries to swap mentees. He admits to shocked Stevie that he stole Matty?s DNA sample and sent it off for testing ? and he would find out in a matter of minutes whether or not he is Matty?s father.

Things are tense in resus with problems piling up, and within all the chaos, Dylan receives the all-important DNA results. Is Matty really Dylan?s son?

5. Kim faces a problem

During a busy shift, Stevie gets annoyed with Kim, who appears to be more interested in her phone than she is treating patients. Kim gets presented with a peculiar situation when a woman arrives in the ED with six children, explaining that one of the kids she is looking after swallowed a battery ? she just doesn?t know which.

How will Kim tackle this, and will she solve the problem before it?s too late?
