EastEnders? Suki and Eve Panesar-Unwin are left gobsmacked next week when their big adoption meeting is gatecrashed by their warring family ? and Ravi Gulati is kidnapped by a threatening gang.
The couple?s hopes for their future could be jeopardised by the actions of their loved ones, as chaos unfolds at the worst possible moment ? and terrifying intruders storm the house?
"It?s a huge day for Suki and Eve," begins our Walford insider, "but their important meeting is disturbed by their quarrelling clan. The Panesar-Unwins need their household to stay in line more than ever before, but Ravi ends up in peril?"
Suki and Eve?s adoption journey so far has been rocky, to say the least, amid the drama with Eve?s mum. The couple are therefore understandably nervous ahead of their assessment.
They try to play peacemaker between Ravi and the rest of the family, with tensions still sky high. Ravi has now agreed to become an informant to the police, but Priya has discovered that he was at the centre of the drugs operation and is devastated by his betrayal.
Suki and Eve?s evaluation gets off to a good start, but things go very wrong when Priya arrives with an axe to grind?
"Furious Priya storms into the house, shouting about Ravi," says our source. "It?s the disruption that Suki and Eve feared the most, and they can only watch in horror as their assessor Robin overhears her angry tirade. Priya might have just scuppered their chances of adopting a child."
If possible, things then get even worse as Avani and Nugget turn up and join in the argument, as Suki and Eve attempt to get the assessment back on track.
Eve realises that this family feud could well be a long-term problem, so she tells Suki that Ravi can?t stay in the house if they end up adopting a child. The couple agree to give Ravi his marching orders, and he accepts their decision.
But the chaotic day takes a frightening turn, and Ravi disappears much sooner than expected?
"A dangerous group of men arrive at Suki?s door and waste no time in dragging Ravi away," reveals our insider. "The family is left reeling as they fear for his safety, but he eventually returns home ? albeit badly beaten. Has his decision to become an informant upset the wrong people?"
Despite the exploits of the day, Suki and Eve are thrilled to get the news that they?re through to the next stage of the adoption process ? but will their fractured family ever be able to come together?

EastEnders? Vicki Fowler shares a smooch with Zack Hudson next week, after she confides in him about the lasting impact of Joel Marshall?s attack. Is this the start of a genuine romance between Sharon Watts? half-siblings?
Having been involved in a disastrous quiz night at The Vic, Vicki retreats to her sofa and opens up to Zack about the trauma that she has been carrying around since Joel brutally assaulted her. In response, Zack offers his reassurance ? but one thing leads to another, and the pair lean in for a kiss?
"Kathy walks in just as they lock lips!" says our EastEnders insider. "Zack declares that it was a moment of madness and Sharon doesn?t need to know about it.
"It?s down to Kathy to decide whether that?s the case, but with Sharon still in Florida they should be in the clear ? if they can keep it from Ross, that is?"
The week kicks off with Vicki learning that Joel plans to plead not guilty at his trial. The unsettling news disturbs Vicki, but she still agrees to go to the pub quiz later that day.
At The Vic, Vicki and Ross are placed on the same team, which helps push relations between the two in the right direction. But when Vicki heads to the bar for a drink, Chelsea?s date Damon flags her attention for all the wrong reasons.
"Vicki is concerned when she first spots Damon, then she catches him on the phone to his wife," explains our insider. "Vicki bellows out that Damon is a cheat, which causes a commotion in the pub."
Subsequently, Vicki follows Damon into the laundrette, which triggers another blazing argument. Damon launches himself at Vicki, who defends herself by shoving him away.
The next thing Vicki knows, Damon is on the ground, having badly smacked his head. Before she has time to panic, Zack turns up and leaps into action ? can he protect Vicki from facing even more grief?
Later, Zack offers an apology to Kathy, acknowledging that he shouldn?t have kissed Vicki in her vulnerable state. Wise as ever, Kathy then advises Zack to put his attention into son Barney, who needs his support right now.
Was Vicki and Zack?s kiss a huge mistake, or could it turn into something more?

Vicki's shocked to learn that Joel is pleading not guilty to her attack. She tries to take her mind off things by attending The Vic's quiz night, but becomes concerned over the behaviour of Chelsea's date Damon. After hearing him on the phone to his wife, Vicki announces to the whole pub that Damon is a cheat.
Later, there's another dispute when Vicki follows Damon into the launderette. As Damon approaches Vicki, she pushes him away and he suffers a nasty fall, hitting his head.
Meanwhile, Suki and Eve go ahead with the adoption assessment, but Priya spoils the mood by storming in and shouting the odds about Ravi. The assessor, Robin, hears the whole thing.
Elsewhere, Zoe tries to play matchmaker between Freddie and Anna.

Avani and Nugget wade into the family argument, but Suki and Eve desperately try to silence them to avoid making things any worse with the adoption assessor. Eve ends up telling Suki that they can't have Ravi in the house with them if they adopt a child, so they decide to ask Ravi to leave.
Ravi accepts Eve and Suki's decision when he finds out what's going on, but there's a turn of events that nobody expected when a group of men arrive at the door and take him away!
Meanwhile, Zack arrives and springs into action to protect Vicki following the incident with Damon, who's still lying on the floor. Later, after opening up about how much the incident with Joel has affected her, Vicki shares a kiss with Zack. Kathy walks in and the pair insist that it was just a moment of madness, so Sharon doesn't need to know.
Elsewhere, Zoe is unhappy when she learns that someone has bombarded The Vic with negative reviews which mention her name.

Alfie suspects that Zoe is responsible for the malicious online reviews ? and the other strange occurrences lately ? but agrees to appease Kat by trying to investigate who the culprit is.
In the end, Alfie insists that it's time for Zoe to leave, even though Kat continues to defend her. Just at that moment, there's a disturbance downstairs and a threatening message is left in the barrel store.
Meanwhile, Ravi returns to the Square but is badly beaten. Despite their fears, Suki and Eve are put forward to the next stage of the adoption process.
Elsewhere, Ross visits Joel and urges him to plead guilty so that Vicki doesn't have to attend court.
Also today, Kathy advises Zack to focus on being there for Barney, rather than his recent kiss with Vicki.
Finally, Oscar tries to get closer to Jasmine.

When the family find an earring in the barrel store following the recent break-in and threatening message, Zoe decides that it must belong to whoever's stalking her.
Meanwhile, Jasmine convinces Oscar to break into Anthony's surgery with her. Once they're inside, Jasmine secretly logs onto Anthony's computer to find information.
Elsewhere, Ross's grand gesture to remind Vicki of happier times leaves her unimpressed.
