Eastenders fans will recognise the newest CT surgeon to join Darwin ward on Holby City. It?s Davood Ghadami, who played Kush on the soap for over six years.

He?ll play Eli, who?s described as a ?talented, idiosyncratic surgeon? excitable, passionate and exploding with energy.? Davood says he?s ?excited for the audience to meet Eli and watch the drama that unfolds on his arrival!?

Series Producer Sean Gleeson is ?more than excited to welcome Davood from EastEnders to Holby and know that he is going to be a fantastic addition to our cast.?

We?ll have to wait until a little later in the year for Davood?s debut, as no firm date has been given yet for Eli?s first episode, but let?s hope it?s not too long as Darwin is rapidly running out of surgeons!
