People in Emmerdale really need to watch what they’re doing in their vehicles! As James Barton knocks down Chas Dingle, a drunk Bernice White commandeers a digger and prepares to cause complete mayhem.

But while their actions are less than pre-meditated, one person whose scheming continues to increase is Emma Barton but her recent corker of a lie is about to be exposed. But how will she lash out as things start to crumble around her?

Meanwhile, there’s new heartache in David’s emotional story – but there is a potentially uplifting development too.

Here are the spoilers you need to know for the week commencing Monday 6th June:

1. Tracy remains keen to make a go of things with David but just as he throws caution to the wind and appears to be letting her through his barriers, a clump of his hair comes away when Tracy runs her hand through it, leaving him distressed.

2. After hearing about what’s happened, young Jacob determines to show solidarity with David and has his own head shaved. David is touched by the gesture and Tracy is pleased to see them reunite.

3. As Chas begins to feel unwell again, she is distracted when out walking and ends up hit by James’ car. In the hospital, the nurse asks if she could be pregnant and she prepares to take a test knowing that if she is carrying a baby, it will be Gordon’s.

4. Charity and Aaron begin to worry about Chas’ state of mind and soon Emma’s instincts kick in when she finds Chas distressed. Later, Chas stops Charity calling the police when she finds the pub trashed, accepting that her PTSD must be back.

5. Meanwhile, Emma is furious to find a pregnancy test and Chas’ eyeliner hidden by James and fumes. Later, she fakes a funny turn and a concerned James later discovers she has been lying. But as Emma is ostracised from the family, who will she lash out at?

6. As Bernice finally clicks that Ronnie and Lawrence used to be lovers, she is gutted and feels that her marriage is a sham. Later, after hitting the bottle, she climbs into the digger and prepares to create carnage…

7. Holly continues to pass more tests but Cain remains suspicious of her. Can she prove that she really is on the mend or is Cain right to be doubtful?

8. Belle arrives at the Bailey house and desperately tries to apologise to Angie to stop her from calling the police – but will she be as forgiving as she hopes?

9. Vanessa and Rhona make amends and are both glad to have their friendship back on track – but if Vanessa was hoping that Rhona would give up Pierce, she has another thing coming…

10. Lisa struggles as her divorce comes through but she vows that she won’t be shedding any more tears over Zak. But is her strength just a front?

Monday

Jacob worries that David is not looking after himself, so to prove a point, he deliberately lights a cigarette in front of Tracy. He later tells David and Leyla that he was only risking his life in the same way David is.

Later, Tracy consoles David over Jacob and they kiss, but they're both shocked and upset when a tuft of David's hair comes away in her hand. Struggling to cope, David pushes Tracy away.

Meanwhile, Chas tells DS Wise that she isn't ready for a relationship so soon after Gordon. He respects her decision, but Charity encourages her to give him a chance. Aaron tries his best to comfort his mum but she insists he should go on his holiday to Wales. Later, after knocking back too much booze, Chas has to be led into the back room by Charity to sleep it off. But is her love life all that's really worrying Chas?

Elsewhere, Lachlan is frustrated that Belle hasn't dumped Doctor Bailey. Later, Zak and Lisa insist they need to speak to Angie to stop her calling the police. Belle reluctantly agrees but dreads the visit. When they all arrive at the Baileys', Belle apologises and assures Angie that she's getting help.

Also today, Rhona returns home and admits to Pierce that she's been worrying too much, prompting them to share a passionate kiss.

Finally, James tells the boys about his plan.


Tuesday

James is getting ready for his plan of action, but as he drives along a country lane, he accidentally knocks down Chas when she steps out in front of him. He accompanies her to the hospital where a nurse asks if Chas could be pregnant. James is taken aback when Chas admits that she thinks she could be.

Later, once back home, Chas explains to James that if she is pregnant, it means it is Gordon's child. He invites her inside to take the pregnancy test and they await the results. Later at The Woolpack, Charity can tell something is wrong with Chas.

Meanwhile, James's involvement in Chas's accident means that he cancels his date with Emma. Finn slips up by telling Emma that he saw Chas and James together at Dale View. Later, James hides Chas's mascara in the bin. Emma returns home and promptly finds it, along with the pregnancy test. Her heart breaks and it's clear that Chas has a new problem to deal with.

Elsewhere, David is touched when he finds that Jacob has shaved his head. David then decides to shave his too, as Jacob and Leyla watch on. Tracy sees them from outside and although she is happy for them, she's also sad that she isn't included.

Wednesday

Jealous Emma tries to trap James into coming clean over Chas, but he then realises the boys have let slip about his plan. When Emma later arrives at The Woolpack, she is furious to see James chatting with Chas and fakes a funny turn by stumbling. James is concerned and Pete reveals that Emma hasn't been well.

Back at Dale View, Emma tries to soothe James's concerns, but he remains worried. He goes to the surgery to find out the truth, but will he get it from Doctor Bailey?

Meanwhile, when Ronnie struggles with a digger outside Mill, Lawrence helps and they later share a drink. Could there be a slight thawing as the two men reminisce?

Elsewhere, David struggles with his new look.

Also today, after waking from a nightmare, Chas lies awake terrified and close to tears.


Thursday

Hour-long episode

Finn, Pete and Ross are outraged to now know that Emma faked her illness and she is shocked when none of them object to her leaving. Emma leaves under a cloud.

Later, James is having doubts about Emma leaving and decides to reunite with her, leaving the boys stunned.

Meanwhile, Charity is shocked to find The Woolpack has been trashed in the night, but Chas stops her from phoning the police, suspecting that her PTSD is back. Chas panics and runs off, but Emma helps to get her to a mental health clinic. Later, Charity grudgingly admits that Emma came through, but is Emma as helpful as she thinks?

Elsewhere, the penny finally drops for Bernice when she finds out from Lisa that Ronnie is gay and sees Lawrence burning old love letters they once wrote. Having seen Ronnie. Bernice is furious that Lawrence even went through the sham of marrying her.

Also today, Moira is relieved when Holly passes another urine test. Holly seems determined to stay clean from drugs and Moira is starting to trust her again. Holly is also happy that Victoria has offered her a job.

Finally, Lisa is upset to get her divorce through, but she impresses Sam and Belle by swearing not to shed another tear for Zak.


[B]Friday[/]

ernice tries to remain cheerful, but Nicola sees through it and realises that Lawrence may have been unfaithful. Bernice doesn't elaborate on who with or how long ago, but a sad Bernice heads to the pub to drown her sorrows.

When she is given the keys to the digger to return to Lawrence, Bernice is fuelled with anger and booze and climbs into Lawrence's digger - ready to do her worst..

Meanwhile, Moira wants Cain to be more supportive of Holly's new job, but Cain is sarcastic about her working at festivals and parties. Later, Cain asks Moira to watch Kyle but refuses to let Holly do it. When Moira has to leave Kyle with Holly, how will Cain react?

Elsewhere, Lachlan leaves Belle rattled by realising that Bailey isn't going to leave his wife.

Also today, Aaron feels positive that Chas is taking steps to get better, while Kerry gets the wrong idea over the theme at Moses's party.
