What old friend would this be? Gemma the all purpose friend, who she never wanted to speak to again?

I'm surprised they haven't shown Kylie struggling around Max by now. It must he hard to look him in the face every day knowing that she's killed his father (even though he hates said father.)

Perhaps, I just presumed that it would be someone else as Eva is mentioned by name in the spoilers.

Meanwhile, Coronation Street's Liz McDonald throws caution to the wind when she decides to give Tony Stewart another chance.

Liz (Beverley Callard) has been furious with Tony since discovering that he cheated on her with Tracy Barlow, but her stern resolve starts to chip away next month when she sees his nicer side again.

When there's a plumbing problem with the ladies toilets at The Rovers, Liz decides to call in Tony (Terence Maynard) to help - angering her son Steve who doesn't want the schemer anywhere near his mum.

Seeing a chance to worm his way back into Liz's affections, Tony invites her out to see a Rod Stewart tribute act in town. She reluctantly accepts but insists that Steve and Michelle mustn't find out.

After the former couple attend the gig, they share a nightcap in the builders' yard and Tony kisses Liz. Things don't go any further, but Tony is left hopeful that they might have a future after all...

From what I've read, I think Liz might be intending to con Tony out of his share of the pub this time (which will lead to his exit). I really hope she has more self-respect than to fall for him again!

Otherwise they may as well change her
