Connie is torn between spending time with Grace and dealing with a demanding patient. After Connie messes up, Grace decides to live with Audrey.

Meanwhile, Zoe treats an old man who makes her realise that life is too short. She resolves to telling Max how she feels, only to find him in a clinch with a nurse.

Elsewhere, Tess chooses to step down as clinical nurse manager, leaving Rita to apply for the role.
