Jett's potential father doesnt want to meet him, Bianca and Heath face life outside the hospital and Harvey and Lottie work out how to deal with Mel. Meanwhile, Dex feels awkward spending the night at Irene's.

Sid throws a pre-exams party at Angelo's, Casey and Ruby's closeness upsets Sasha and Sid warns Romeo to stay away from Indi.

Monday episode 5561 - 16/07/12

Gina informs Richard Bozic that Liz passed away due to an overdose. Gina learns Richard has been trying to turn his life around. Gina breaks the news that Liz a thirteen-year-old son called Jett. Richard’s surprised and doesn’t want to get involved. Gina tells John they may never hear from Richard again and he encourages her to be honest with Jett anyway. Gina tells Jett that Richard doesn’t want to meet him. Later, Jett sees a father-son bonding moment between Sid and Dex, which propels him to find Richard – and take out his anger.

Bianca tells April that she and Heath are ‘official’ and April can’t help feeling wary – and neither can Irene and Sid when they learn. Sid informs Bianca that she can leave the hospital – although Rocco will have to stay. Bianca returns home after holding Rocco for the first time.

Harvey grapples with the question of how to break the news to Mel that Lottie wants to stay with him. Harvey decides Lottie shouldn’t have to bear the brunt of her parents’ issues any longer – he resolves to tell Mel.

Meanwhile, Dex faces the awkwardness of spending the night with April at Irene’s house.

Tuesday episode 5562 - 17/07/12

Jett washes up after cutting his hand vandalising Richard’s home but afterwards, Gina spots the evidence. Later, Richard shows up wanting answers from Gina so John invites him to stay and talk to Jett himself. Jett reluctantly agrees to see Richard, leaving Gina wondering if she’s soon to lose the new member of their household. After their meeting, Jett is hopeful but Richard can’t handle getting involved any further. Jett’s devastated to hear Richard walked away.

Bianca asks Irene to give Heath a chance. Later, Bianca finds out through Irene that Heath lied about going to a family barbeque. Heath apologises, saying he needed some space to process their new situation. Bianca admits to feeling scared too and they return to a good place in their relationship.

Alf catches Marilyn snooping around Danny’s caravan and she admits to being worried something’s happened to him. With rent owing, Alf thinks he shot through but Marilyn defends Danny, later taking a key to investigate inside Danny’s caravan – but Heath busts her. Heath then finds a stack of letters addressed to his family from Danny that were never delivered. He demands an explanation from Brax.

Wednesday episode 5563 - 18/07/12

Danny returns and Marilyn apologises to him for sneaking into his caravan. Heath, meanwhile, wants to talk about Brax withholding Danny’s letters. Danny seems happy to let bygones be bygones and burns the letters before Casey has a chance to read them.

Meanwhile, after being intimidated by him earlier, Natalie learns Danny is her next-door neighbour at the caravan park. She bumps into Brax and they agree to have a drink later. But their plans are intruded upon by Danny, Casey and Heath having dinner together. Brax decides to join them as Danny insinuates he’s going to get money back from Cheryl. Casey cottons onto this and starts to become aware of his father’s dark side – and how Brax is under pressure to pay him off.

Lottie’s worried about sending Harvey off to drop the bombshell on Mel that she wants to live with her father. But Mel surprises everyone by dropping in. When Harvey finally delivers the news, Mel takes it badly. Upset, she aggressively forces Lottie to admit it’s true. Mel feels betrayed and it’s clear she’s not coping. Harvey wonders if Mel discharged herself from the clinic too soon.

Thursday episode 5564 - 19/07/12

Casey suspects Brax is preparing to do a drug deal to pay off Danny. Ruby’s upset to discover Leah’s letting Romeo stay at her house but is surprised to find Casey’s still being supportive of her. Casey tries to convince Brax he doesn’t need to go ahead with the deal. Meanwhile, Danny learns from Marilyn about Ruby’s payout after her mother’s death. As Brax heads off, he has to brush Ruby and Natalie off. Afterwards, Ruby accepts Danny’s lunch invitation. Natalie airs her concerns about the apparent conflict between Brax and Casey but Casey doesn’t want to talk. After the lunch, when it’s clear Ruby likes Danny, Casey asks her to stay close to him. Meanwhile, Brax prepares for his deal.

Alf’s concerned Lottie’s getting caught up in the venom between Harvey and Mel, which is only confirmed when a court order arrives, sent by Mel. Harvey asks her to refrain from making things ugly. In return, Mel threatens to expose the truth about Ben’s death. Afterwards, Roo’s surprised at Harvey’s turnaround and suspects there’s something she’s not being told. Roo goes to Mel for the truth and finds out Harvey’s dark secret – that Harvey was drunk when Ben died in the boating accident. Roo tells Harvey that she knows and registers the pain he’s in.

Meanwhile, Indi’s surprised to learn Romeo is sticking to his sales job. Returning home, Romeo’s buoyed to hear from Liam that Indi seemed pleased following his visit.

Friday episode 5565 - 20/07/12

April’s surprised to find Casey looking after Ruby and speculates they might be going out. April and Dex try to hose down Sasha’s jealousy but don’t have much luck – so they order a pizza to get delivery boy Casey’s side of the story. Casey assures them he and Ruby are just friends and they pass this info onto a pleased Sasha. An exchange about Ruby’s fake pregnancy sees her deeply grateful to have Casey supporting her, and she’s later elated when Casey invites her to the pre-exam party Sid’s organised at Angelo’s. Leah tries to caution Ruby from getting too close to Casey but Ruby tells her to butt out. At the party, Sasha is disappointed to see Casey enter with Ruby on his arm.

Liam’s struggling at Angelo’s with Brax’s mysterious absence. Romeo comes into Angelo’s to spend some time with Indi and they share some friendly banter. Romeo becomes hopeful and Indi confirms that he’s not wasting his time. However, when she shares the news of this reconnection with her father, Sid warns Romeo to stay away from Indi.

Despite Sid’s concerns, Romeo continues to flirt with Indi at the party. When Ruby sees this, her jealousy surges and she kisses Casey.
