CORRIE’S Roy comes a right Cropper when he gets stranded by a camper van breakdown after attending an open-air classical music concert with Mary Taylor.

He can’t even phone for help as he can’t get a signal on his mobile and he looks ready to bottle it in these hilarious scenes.

It looks like Mary (Patti Clare) might have her sights set on the cafe owner, played by David Neilson.

She has got form, remember, having previously kidnapped Norris Cole – played by Malcolm Hebden – on a holiday together after she failed to woo the interfering old busybody.

The pair went on a break in the countryside but their trip turned nasty when obsessive Mary tried to stop him escaping her clutches.
