Emmett Scanlan's prank call revenge

Hollyoaks Emmett J Scanlan has taken revenge on some prank callers who managed to get hold of his phone number.

The soap star - who plays violent villain Brendan Brady in the Channel 4 show - was not pleased to be bothered by the anonymous callers so he took action, and posted their numbers on Twitter so his followers could prank call them in return.

Emmett, who has almost 11,000 followers, tweeted: "Dear friends, some t**s got hold of me number. So I got hold of der's. please feel free to annoy them by callin..." followed by two numbers.

He later thanked fans for their help, writing: "U guys cracked me da hell up today, top people... Respect to yis all."

The Irish actor joined the cast as the ferocious Brendan last year.
