I have a Lexmark printer and I am fed up of paying nearly £50 for both black ink and colour ink cartridges. I would like to try buying one of the refilled cartridges on sale that is compatible with my printer. Has anybody tried using the refilled cartridges? Are they any good? Thanks for your input

there good but they dont last has long as originals...ink cartridges are a rip off
I've used refillable ink for a Lexmark and they worked a few times. After about six months of using refilled cartridges I had to buy a new printer. Whether that was because the printer had run its course or the cheap ink had damaged the jets, I don't know.
My advice, buy a new printer that uses an all in one cartridge. My current Lexmark X2350 uses an all in one and lasts ages. The cartridge is about ten to fifteen pound depending on suppliers.

I disagree. Seperate Ink cartridges for each colour is much better and more economical. You are nthen actually only replacing the colours you need to.
Unless you need top quality photographs then I would recomend the refillable ones all the time. I use a company which I find very reliable and excellent value but as we are not allowed to advertise PM me if you want a name

After thinking about it I've decided to give refillable cartridges a go. When my printer is broken I'll look into the ones with all in one cartridge. There are a couple of companies I use for delivering cartridges, I'll shop around. Thanks for all your advice, guys!
I buy mine online and have never had any trouble with them.

I am glad the majority of people give them the thumbs up. The difference in price between Lexmark own brand and the re-fills is just not funny. How can they get away with it? The only reason I have this printer in the first place is because it came with my computer.
