107-year-old to marry for 23rd time

A 107-year-old woman from Malaysia is reportedly planning to marry for the 23rd time because she fears that her current husband may leave her for a younger woman.

Wook Kundor of Kuala Terengganu wed Muhammad Noor Che Musa four years ago, but she told the Star that the 37-year-old could leave her when he completes his voluntary drug rehabilitation treatment in Kuala Lumpur, AFP reports.

Kundor said: "Lately, there is this kind of insecurity in me. I realise that I am an aged woman. I don't have the body nor am I a young woman who can attract anyone.

"My intention to remarry is to fill my forlornness and nothing more than that."

She added that she would visit Musa on the second day of Eid if she is able to get a lift to Kuala Lumpur from her neighbours.
