so no deaths so far, was thinking cal was a goner, fletch could die in holby city, good 30 anniversary episode
Couple of puzzling things though.
How did Jacob work out that Connie ws involved in an accident just because the other woman w admitted to ED. He is in the wrong job. He needs to join Silent Witness.
How was Jac there as afer all she only returned from her retreat this week and this crash occurred three weeks ago.

Oh boy ... they just got rid of that plank Rita but then they employ the annoying Amy from Emerdale to be the new doctor "man".
Nothing against the geordie accent, but oh boy is she haming it up, shes obviously the new play thing of the editor along with the pretty but annoying ex desk worker now nurse bod whats her face.. I mean she has managed to remove most of her question intonation issues but they still surface now and again to the annoyance of my ears.
Not a good epp for me, why bring back Duffy as a replacement for Fairhead?

Oh boy... we just got rid of the awful Reeeeta but now they have foisted Amy from Emerdale on us...shesh man...
Add to that they have hired the writer who only does naff cliches and reruns of Tweenies and we have had the worst ever epp of the show so far.
Its ironic, The Bill was destroyed by one actress being shoved in our face, she couldnt act or say words that meant anything, yet Casualty hasnt been able to cast the perfect actress to do the same to their show, but boy oh boy are they trying. :wall:

It was an Emerdale cast reunion tonight. :wall: and not in a good way.
The actress that played Amy in Emerdale is playing Amy again in this show, her Geordie mumbling is so annoying, I keep saying what did she say! Jays bro isnt much better, hes trying to play the down trod bullied son, isnt that what he played in Emerdale? June from the Bill turns up, who just happens to of played down trodden blokes sons mother on Emerdale.
Charlie and Duffy need to get an off set room and spare us this disingenuous dribble.

Oh and for the record Casualty writers you can drink while on antibiotics, what you cant do is take indigestion tablets or ibuprofen etc The whole you cant drink on antibiotics is a urban myth.
Oh and I saw the man on man unwanted kiss coming a mile away. :lol:

Yep John Boulton ? not positive on that one there is another actor who sounds and looks like him.
If Casualty are determined to destroy their own show adding back ground mood music during scenes is a sure way to do it just ask the actors in the Bill, oh wait that got pulled, because the back ground music just was an insult to the vewers who stopped watching in their droves. (what is a drove by the way?)
The music was just plan annoying, like Alicia.

The casualty winter trailer looks amazing. Can't wait for what's coming up especially the Alicia, Cal and Ethan storyline.
Alicia! Do you mean like me youre not into mumbling "I cant hear what you are saying" off casts from Emerdale?
The shows not helped itself either by casting the other Chocolate producing factory owning brother from Emerdale as the new doctor. he had no charisma in that show nor does he in this one. You can only blame so much on the character you play.

No I like Alicia- I enjoy the character and I think the actress is fantastic. I'm looking forward to her upcoming storylines.

I couldnt be bothered to read any guff but Im guessing they were going for a seamless one camera no cuts filamage.
Its the same kind of boreoff where they had Dot doing a montage on Eastenders. Its more about the crew trying to sell themselves to other employers rather than caring about the viewers It was this kind of new age straight out of media studies thinking that killed the Bill.
Made me chuckle, the mumbler as I call her, you know the lass from Emerdale Carls ex squeeze was demoted to linking scenes by walking throu them, they didnt trust her to speak anything. :rotfl: I think she did have a mumbling line a bit later, not a long one.
But it was Ok because Charlie and Duffy where there ...:cartman:

I watched again .. that women is still mumbling away .. I havent a clue what she said but she wasnt the main plot thank goodness.
What the blimming hick was that all about :ninja:
No Lilly for eye candy, Nathen badly acting as Nathen, Connie on some weird death mode depression and the mumbler making her part of the plot just impossible to understand.
Then dont get me started on the new Doctor who is less trained than a puppy with acute bowel issues,.
the show is in crisis, IMO
Please sack the mumbler, I was hoping the flare in the lads leg would do for her, but no.. she sucks.. I wish the actress well but in a job that dosent require us to understand what the smeg she is saying.

Never did understand why we train people to be brilliant doctors then make them pen pushers .. I mean in Holby why make your best surgeons desk jokeys?

Nice to see Pam St Clements aka Pat from EE and the iconic actor/voice of my favourite audio book, he who was once in Emerdale in a romance with Nickola way back when.

Wow.. the actress who plays Connie is fully commuted to this role, you cant fake that level of no hair. I hope she is just acting and this isnt a parody of her her real life.
Poor Naphen, sucked into the misery and spat out because Connie over stepped the realms of their friendship and is punishing him for her error.
Nice to see dead nanna from Eastenders up and about, thou as per she was vile to the Doc who treated her, he blew under the breath test so her stepping in front of the car was her fault. Now Louise, she needs a lesson in how to speak to someone without them then wanting to insert her in a laundry shoot head first.

Not a bad epp tonight, Im still bit confused as to the baby saga for Napen! Was the kid sired by his brother or the kid of the bloke who killed him and Napenen ended. Who knows!

Its ok thou, we get to keep that tremendous actress theyve avoided giving any real scenes to till now as she mumbles her lines. They stuck with Rita for longer than even a producer from Hollyoaks would just because she came from the loins of an actor on Eastenders.
Epp must of cost a bit, but as Id lost onterest before I didnt know a lot of the back history re Ian etc.

Was Sam, Ruby or Iain not checked out by Dylan or anyone in ED after the crash and explosion?
I think her lady boss told her to at least get checked out on scene after she insisted in not going to hospital , not sure she did.
Nope, they were too busy concentrating on patients.
