View Full Version : How do you spend your weekends?
From having the weekends all to myself, they are now spread between my hobby (motorbiking), spending time with the kids, and internet catchup.
To before I was married, weekends seemed to be sufficient to do all the things I liked. Nowadays everything seems too rushed.

My weekends vary as I work 1 in 5 saturdays, when I'm not working or studying I tend to go out and do all the necessary things like food shopping, cleaning the house, washing.
If I have plans with friends this can involve heading to London, Birmingham or Chester to shop and go clubbing. We sometimes take in a show, go to exhibitions or galleries.
If I have no plans I will be lazy and be online catching up with my emails, on here plus talking to my family on facebook.
Pretty boring to lots of others, I suspect. Saturday is shopping day, washing, cleaning etc, occasionally meeting with friends but as they live a couple of hours away, it does not happen very often. OH sometimes has to work which spoils any social meetings. Sundays are lazy days, reading the papers and for me watching the EastEnders omnibus and making a roast dinner :D
When I'm at uni, Sunday is washing day. Might catch up on some tv and just generally laze about. Around pm I might go to Sainsburys when everything is being reduced.
Saturday I sometimes go to the market or clothes shopping. Saturday night is spent watching dvds, tv or getting drunk.

I dance on weekends, sometimes both days.
I also work at the weekend.
Other times its random stuff from nothing to shopping

Going out when I have the money! which is barely ever at the minute!
I usually wathc sport and meet people at the sailing club if im at home or in the union if i am at uni.

What weekends?? since having the kids they seem to go so fast... I work all week so spend weekend between cleaning, washing and playing with the kids.. sometimes I go visit my mum or my sister

Saturday and Sunday during the day I take the kid to the beach so the nights I have to run around doing the housework!! Occassionally hubby surprises me with a nice meal (but not often enough)!

Now there are variations of the text since Ive had a few and I have no idea where this pub is :confused:

Hmm that is strange Abbie...have you tried ringing the number back? Even if I had your number, I wouldn't text you as I wouldn't expect you to travel for hours just to come to a pub quiz lol :D

Well my number is most of the time at the top of everyones phonebook so I often get calls and texts not for me

Hahaha aww this has made me chuckle!
My weekends consist of working now, I work Friday nights, all day and night Saturday (occasionally I get a day off, so I usually end up in town and then Spoons or the pub on karaoke with a few friends) and I work all day and night on a Sunday too.

My weekends are boring they are taking up with catching up with the housework, washing and shopping, then I try and spend sometime with Marley taking her swimming and stuff.
