Jai (Chris Bisson) and Nikhil’s (Rik Makarem) sister Priya (Effie Woods) arrives in the village wearing last nights clubbing clothes. Not having enough money to pay the taxi driver she asks a gobsmacked Jamie (Alex Carter) and Gennie (Sian Reese Williams) to lend her the money. She introduces herself to Eli (Joe Gilgun) and instantly recruits him as a drinking partner and they head to the pub. Priya drunkenly challenges Eli to a game of truth and dare and it isn’t long before he dares her to dance on a car. Obliging Priya starts dancing on the roof of Ashley’s car, despite the alarm going off. Alerted by the commotion, Ashley (John Middleton) dashes out and is furious about the damage Priya has done to his car. As Nikhil and Jai arrive and try to appease him, it’s clear they are used to their sister’s behaviour.

Meanwhile, Scarlett (Kelsey Beth Crossley) returns home and is furious to find Carl (Tom Lister) is not only back but has moved Chas (Lucy Pargeter) into Mill Cottage. Jimmy (Nick Miles) tries to smooth thing over and is relieved when Scarlett refuses to let them force her out of her own home and agrees to stay. Scarlett, however, refuses to speak to Carl ever again and Jimmy knows things are going to be tough. Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), also still aggrieved with Chas’ presence, gives Paddy (Dominic Brunt) the heads up by informing him that Chas has moved into Mill Cottage. A short while later Paddy arrives at Mill Cottage, realising he has disturbed Chas and Carl in bed he drops Aaron’s stereo breaking it. As Paddy leaves, Chas tells Carl she is dreading telling Aaron this is now his home.

Over at the Woolpack, after a false start, Jamie finally asks Gennie out on a date tomorrow night. She happily accepts but Bob (Tony Audenshaw), however, is not impressed to overhear the couple’s arrangement.

Also, Faye (Kim Thomson) enjoys her game of cat and mouse with Cain (Jeff Hordley) a little more than he does. And Paddy offers Pearl (Meg Johnson) Chas’ job.

Tuesday 15 September

At the factory interviews Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) pales when she realises Nikhil (Rik Makarem) and Jai (Chris Bisson) are the factory owners. Ignoring Nikhil’s dislike of Laurel, Jai is impressed with her interview. That evening, in the pub, Nikhil announces that all of the interview results will be posted but is undermined when Jai immediately tells Laurel she has been given the supervisors role. Faye (Kim Thomson) is thrilled to be the PA and Lisa (Jane Cox), Eli (Joe Gilgun) and Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) are also happy to be given jobs packing sweets. Nikhil feels undermined that his views have been ignored and he warns Jai not to get above his station or he will be fired. Nikhil reminds his brother that he is the boss and warns him never to forget it. Jai nods his head but when Nikhil leaves his expression changes to one of amused knowing.

Elsewhere, Bob (Tony Audenshaw) admits to Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) that he doesn’t want her seeing Jamie (Alex Carter) but sick of his interference Gennie is determined to make her date with Jamie a success. Before they leave for their date Gennie tells Jamie to ignore Bob’s advice sure he is not the world authority on relationships. Jamie agrees. After a walk the couple are clearly enjoying each other’s company as they head to the pub. Delighted to hear she has got the factory job Jamie kisses Gennie. Aware Bob is watching they kiss for his benefit then continue for their own sake.

Priya (Effie Woods) asks her brother’s to pay Ashley (John Middleton) for the damage to his car. Nikhil refuses but Jai winks at her and she knows it will be fine. Laurel is bemused to see Jai on her doorstep but he charmingly gets around her and Ashley by apologising for his brother’s behaviour. Jai offers cash for the damage to Ashley’s car and is impressed when Laurel manages to extort more money out of him.

Also, Ryan (James Sutton) asks Katie (Sammy Winward) out in his new car and she agrees as long as he throws in a nice meal

Pearl (Meg Johnson) accepts Paddy’s (Dominic Brunt) job offer as his receptionist

Wednesday 16 September

Terry (Billy Hartman) advises Bob (Tony Audenshaw) to leave Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) and Jamie (Alex Carter) to themselves but not listening to his friend’s advice Bob tries to get Jamie to cancel his date with Gennie to babysit the twins. Jamie refuses and Bob, still worried that Gennie will let slip to Jamie that they slept together, heads to Victoria cottage to try and convince Gennie to dump Jamie. When Jamie arrives he is irritated to see Bob and questions once and for all what his problem is. Jamie is devastated when Gennie tells him that she and Bob slept together. Stunned by her revelation, Jamie tells Gennie he wants nothing more to do with her. Telling them they deserve each other Jamie leaves. Gennie is furious with Bob and tells him he has now got the ugly mess he was worried about.

At Mill Cottage, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is uncomfortable when Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) once again makes it clear that she is not welcome. Needing to share her woes Chas is hurt when Gennie tells her she wants nothing more to do with her. Chas tries to talk things through with Katie (Sammy Winward) but keen to get ready for her date Katie can’t supply the shoulder she needs. Carl tries to reassure Chas everything will be okay but Chas responds that although she loves him she thinks she has made a mistake and should never have moved in.

Meanwhile, Katie and Ryan’s (James Sutton) date is going really well until Ryan’s car breaks down. Katie is furious sure he has broken down close to a hotel on purpose. Ryan denies it but livid Katie begins to walk home. Having fixed the car Ryan stops to offer Katie a lift. Sceptical that he managed to fix the car so quickly Katie refuses a lift back to the village. Miffed Ryan drives off.

Also, Val (Charlie Hardwick) asks Pollard (Chris Chittell) if she can use the left over pub sale money to go to Australia and is miffed when he says no

Cain (Jeff Hordley) masks his jealousy when Faye (Kim Thomson) snubs him to have a drink with her new bosses

Thursday 17 September [1]

Worried about Aaron’s (Danny Miller) return, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) begs Zak (Steve Halliwell) and Lisa (Jane Cox) to let him stay with them. They agree on the proviso that Chas sorts things soon and starts putting her son first. Aaron returns home to Paddy’s (Dominic Brunt) and surprised to realise no one is there he helps himself to a beer. Aaron’s gutted when Paddy returns home and tells him to leave. Asking where his mum is Paddy explains she is with Carl (Tom Lister). Aaron tries to protest that he is on Paddy’s side but Paddy coldly tells him to collect his stuff and get out. Aaron heads to Mill cottage on the warpath. Bursting through the front door he’s disgusted to see Chas and Carl together. Chas begs him to listen pleading that the last thing she wanted to do was hurt him but Aaron tells her in no uncertain terms that he wants nothing more to do with her.

Meanwhile, Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) begs Jamie (Alex Carter) to hear her out but he walks off telling her she had her chance. Katie (Sammy Winward) is worried for her friend when Gennie confides that she slept with Bob (Tony Audenshaw) and told Jamie the truth and that’s why he doesn’t want anything to do with her. Katie tries to comfort her but Gennie breaks down devastated.

Elsewhere, Bob tells Terry (Billy Hartman) what has happened and heads off in desperate search of Jamie. Bob begs Jamie to let him explain but Jamie questions how far he was going to let his relationship get before he told him the truth. Terry urges them in to sort things out off the street but Jamie snaps we’d better invite Viv then before storming off. Bob is left in a state of panic

Also, Debbie (Charley Webb) pretends to not care when Michael (Jamie Belman) receives a call from his other woman.

Pollard (Chris Chittell) tells Val (Charlie Hardwick) she can got to Australia and is miffed when she reveals she has already booked a flight that leaves that evening

The new sweet factory opens for business and Nikhil (Rik Makarem) and Jai (Chris Bisson) are not surprised to see that Priya (Effie Woods) has already got the staff dancing to her tune

Thursday 17 September [2]

Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) is rattled to witness Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Faye (Kim Thomson) having a drink together in the pub. Mark is alarmed when Maisie (Alice Coulthard) comments that Cain and Faye have been having a fling but he tries to feign disinterest. Cain kisses Faye and is enjoying the moment until he notices her sneaking a look to check if Mark is watching. Not liking being used, Cain calls someone and asks them if they fancy a drink this afternoon. Later on when Faye asks Cain to leave with her for Mark’s benefit, he tells her there has been a change of plan. Right on cue Ali (Clara Darcy), an attractive blonde, joins him. Faye is clearly humiliated and leaves. Later that day, Faye and Ryan (James Sutton) witness Ali and Cain getting in a car together. Suspecting his mother may be jealous; Ryan suggests to Faye that she should give up on Mark for good and give her and Cain a proper go.

Elsewhere, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) tells Carl (Tom Lister) that her own son hates her and she is not sure their relationship is worth the price of losing her son. Carl tries to convince her that Aaron (Danny Miller) will come round but for now she should focus on their relationship. Unconvinced, Chas heads off to clear her head, leaving Carl worried about where he stands. Aaron moves in with the Dingles and Zak (Steve Halliwell) tries to talk to Aaron but all he can say is that Chas has spoilt things for everyone and he will never forgive her.

Meanwhile, Bob (Tony Audenshaw) questions whether Jamie (Alex Carter) is going to tell Viv (Deena Payne). Eager to understand why Bob cheated on Viv, Jamie questions him about his night with Gennie. Bob is uncomfortable but Jamie pushes him for answers. When Viv walks in and Bob desperately tries to cover, Jamie just leaves in disgust. Later in the pub, Jamie responds angrily when Bob suggests he go easy on Gennie. Sure he only cares about keeping his secret, Jamie’s anger rises arrives as Viv questions what is going on between them. Bob awaits the killer blow but Jamie keeps quiet. Aside from Viv, Bob is grateful to Jamie but he makes it clear he did it for her not him. It is clear that Jamie is not ready to forgive his father yet.

Also, Debbie is disappointed at Michael’s reluctance to commit to going away with her again

Friday 18 September

Cain (Jeff Hordley) is amused when Ryan (James Sutton) asks about his ‘other women’. Cain tells him Ali (Clara Darcy) is only a friend and delights in watching him head off to tell his mum. Later that afternoon, in the pub, Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) is flustered to see Faye (Kim Thomson) and Cain together once again. With Cain away for a moment, Mark tells Faye to leave sure this isn’t what she wants. Convinced he’s jealous, Faye is delighted by Mark’s passion. Aware of what is going on, Cain watches unseen. A short time later, Mark is horrified to see Faye lead Cain out of the pub. Back at her place, knowing she has no option, Faye moves to take Cain upstairs. Cain drops his act and is incredulous that she could whore herself just to wind up Mark. He warns her never to use him again and walks out leaving her feeling sordid and humiliated.

Meanwhile, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) and Jimmy (Nick Miles) are pleased when Carl (Tom Lister) suggests that he and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) go on the haulage trip to Italy. Chas pays Aaron (Danny Miller) a visit at the Dingle’s and is crushed by the extent of Zak’s (Steve Halliwell) disapproval of the way she has treated him. Upset Aaron isn’t interested in seeing her, a downbeat Chas agrees to go with Carl to Italy.

Elsewhere, Viv (Deena Payne) tells Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) that Jamie (Alex Carter) dumped Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams). Brenda and Viv corner Gennie and question her about what happened with Jamie. Gennie tries to fob them off and they stop when they realise how upset she is. Gennie begs Jamie to give her another chance but he tells her that things might have been different if he had known the truth before they got together but he can’t stop seeing her with his dad. Gennie is heartbroken as Jamie tells her they are never going to be together.

Also, Debbie (Charley Webb) returns from her break with Michael (Jamie Belman) and it is clear she has really fallen for him

Eli (Joe Gilgun) gets caught stealing sweets from the factory but later is surprised when Priya (Effie Woods) steals sweets for him playing on the fact that her brothers won’t sack her

Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) tries to convince Mark that Cain and Faye being together is a good thing but it is clear he is far from convinced

We always knew that Faye wants Mark back, but I reckon her fling with Cain will definetly make Mark go crazy, as it is pretty obvious he doesn't like her being happy.

I SOOOOOO badly want Faye and Cain to b together. Look at what it says about poor Cain. "He's enjoying the moment" but then notices Faye is looking elsewhere. :( I reckon they'll realise how much they want each other after they fall out.
