How Funny was it when bex slapped claire in last nights episode. She really deserved it. Is;nt it against the law to withhold evidence. And also Luke what a hero.

i no, i was just waiting for it to happen. Bex was walking down the corridor with her heels clipping, it was fantastic-well done casualty although it wasn't my favourite eppy

no it waont as luke knows that pete told claire during the trail so it wont be hearsay it would just be with holding eviedence

Just to let you all know it is hearsay unless the person who the statement was made to (ie claire) comes forward. If Bex tells the police then its inadmissable, the police may follow up the lead but I dont think the court would take it. There was also no witnesses to the conversation between Pete and Claire, as she didnt bring it up in the trial it would probably be made out by Pete to be lies

Its still hearsay evidence as Luke did not actually hear Pete say it he can only repeat what Claire told him so still unadmissable

yeh but she wasn't asked about it was she so she weren't lieing so it weren't perjury but i think it is with-holding evidence!

i think it is illegal because her information would of sent pete down!!!! evil claire why NOT tell the court the truth when she KNEW pete raped bex and she made bex go through it all! claire even heard the tape! she must have no heart in her!

lol that was rather to the point. um yeah i dont like her at all. but i dont think shes really a bitch. just a bit distraught and when she stuck up for pete before she was just being................... (cant think of the word, will edit when i do)
