Arlene Phillips is set to join Sky One's new dance show.
The veteran choreographer - who was axed as a judge from this series of hit BBC talent show 'Strictly Come Dancing' - is in talks with producers of 'Let's Dance' to become one of its judges.
A Sky source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "We are in discussions with Arlene about coming on board 'Let's Dance'. Not only is she a fantastic choreographer, but she is a natural on screen.
"We would be delighted and honoured if Arlene joined the show.
"Her great passion of dance and helping young dancers reach their potential is exactly what this show aims to do."
The show - which will be presented by 'Big Brother' host Davina McCall - will search for the brightest dance talent in the UK.
Arlene, 66, was dropped from her role in 'Strictly Come Dancing' in favour of 30-year-old Alesha Dixon, who won the show in 2007.
Many fans were outraged by the decision and claimed the BBC was being ageist.
However, she will return to the show as one of its main choreographers.

Just as the Big Brother door begins to close the Sky One door opens for presenter Davina McCall, as she signs up to present a new TV dance show, Just Dance.
The series is a co-production from Shine TV and Princess Productions.
It will be run on a similar style as the X Factor, but for just dancers.
Once again, this is another example of how Sky One is spending its budget on new and exciting programming, instead of buying in imported content from the US, which is still in demand but Sky One has to compete with the likes of the family content provided by the BBC and ITV.
According to the Sky One director of programming, Stuart Murphy, this is a real departure for the channel.
I thought they already had a dance show

DIVERSITY frontman Ashley Banjo is to be a judge on a new TV talent dance show.
The hunk, 20, from the Britain’s Got Talent winning gang, has signed for Sky1’s Just Dance.
Panellists include Coyote Ugly star Adam Garcia, 36, and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, 27. Auditions begin in Edinburgh this weekend.
Diversity's Ashley Banjo, West End star Adam Garcia and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt will judge Sky1's new talent show Just Dance.
The series, which will be hosted by Davina McCall, will attempt to discover the UK's next dance superstars.
"No-one knows better than me how a contest like this can discover raw talent and open up fantastic opportunities," said Britain's Got Talent winner Banjo. "It's a thrill to be on the other side of the desk this time and I'm so excited about discovering some fresh, new, original dancers."
Garcia, who has danced on Broadway and at the opening of the Sydney Olympics, commented: "I think this competition will reveal some genuinely great, new talent and it's going to be a real thrill to see so many people's love of dance translated into a performance."
Popstar Wyatt added: "Britain - don't you wish your dancers were hot like me? Well maybe they are but I'll be the judge of that! I'm coming to the UK and I'm hoping you guys are going to have all the right moves!"
Just Dance will air on Sky1 in January. Auditions are taking place this month in Edinburgh, Manchester and London.

10-year-old street dancer Akai Osei won Sky1 reality show Got To Dance last night.
Osei beat The Box and Jukebox Juniors to win the £100,000 prize and series title. Earlier in the evening, bookmakers' favourites Emily Crow and Matthew Koon were knocked out of the contest.
The Kent-based star was given three gold stars by judges Ashley Banjo, Kimberly Wyatt and Adam Garcia after his first performance. "You're a born performer," commented Garcia afterwards.
His second dance routine, which also got three gold stars from the judges, was based around tracks by Missy Elliot, Michael Jackson and Joe Budden. Wyatt admitted afterwards that the young performer had the look of a winner.
Speaking afterwards to host Davina McCall, Osei said: "This is amazing! It's been the best night of my life."
The dancer previously revealed that he wanted to spend his winnings on a mobile phone, but said last night that he would also like to give some money to charity.
