Steve (Simon Gregson) gets the break he’s been hoping for when Lloyd (Craig Charles) spots Slug (Marshall Lancaster) outside a pub. Slug tries to make a run for it but Lloyd tackles him to the ground and ties his hands until Steve arrives. Steve tries to get him to admit to planting the drugs in the Rovers but Slug refuses to talk. Steve and Lloyd bundle Slug into the boot of the car as he begins to worry about what they have in store for him.

As Jack (William Tarmey) checks the Gazette for flats Molly’s (Vicky Binns) supportive, but Tyrone’s (Alan Halsall) not happy she’s encouraging him to leave. Connie (Rita May) reiterates her offer to Jack and is pleasantly surprised when he agrees to move in. Aware the news won’t go down well, Jack enlists Molly’s help in breaking the news to Tyrone.

Elsewhere Kevin (Michael Le Vell) concocts a scheme to pretend to take on more vehicle recovery as a cover for seeing Molly (Vicky Binns) at evenings and weekends.

Ken (William Roache) brings Simon (Alex Bain) back to Peter’s (Chris Gascoyne) flat, where they find him chasing Naomi round the room in a state of undress.

And Joe (Reece Dinsdale) sets off for his court sentencing.

Monday 7 September [2]

Becky (Katherine Kelly) lays into Slug (Marshall Lancaster), demanding the truth. He denies planting the drugs but Becky can see he’s lying and forces him to talk. He admits Hooch blackmailed him into setting her up. Forming a plan Steve (Simon Gregson) confiscates Slug’s drugs and tells him that if he wants them back he must make Hooch believe he will expose his blackmail plot in court. Luring Hooch to a deserted spot Steve and Slug confront him. Will their bid to save Becky from jail work?

Tyrone (Alan Halsall) is furious that Jack (William Tarmey) intends to live with Connie (Rita May), branding her a gold-digger. Jack’s had enough and offers to show him round Connie’s house. Tyrone is stunned by it’s size and as Jack assures him Connie will never replace Vera will Tyrone finally give him his blessing?

Blanche (Maggie Jones) offers to babysit Simon (Alex Bain) during Peter’s (Chris Gascoyne) dinner date with Naomi but Peter says he wants Simon to be there as they come as a package. Naomi however is irritated by Simon’s presence, making it clear she wants him to herself. How will Peter react?

Kevin (Michael LeVell) and Molly (Vicky Binns) put their plan to get more time together into action. Sally’s (Sally Whittaker) surprised to hear Kevin intends to take on more recovery work. While Molly lies to Tyrone, saying she’s starting yoga classes at a new gym.

And Joe (Reece Dinsdale) reveals he was sentenced to community service.

Thursday 10 September

After their meeting with Hooch Steve (Simon Gregson) and Becky (Katherine Kelly) are convinced that she’ll be going to prison later today. As they worry about the effect her disappearance will have on Amy (Amber Chadwick), Becky sits her down and explains that she might not be around when she gets back from school. Amy tells her not to be sad but Becky‘s resigned to her fate and goes to the café for one final meal. Is Becky going down?

Peter (Chris Gascoyne) wakes up to discovers Simon’s rabbit Leanne has died. He debates trying to replace it but Blanche (Maggie Jones) says he should be told the truth. As Peter gently breaks the news Simon’s (Alex Bain) devastated, asking if it’s in heaven with his mum. Peter comforts him but worries that he’s using the rabbit’s death to grieve for his mum.

Darryl’s (Jonathan Dixon) feeling insecure about his future with Amber (Nikki Patel). Minnie (Poppy Jhakra) tells him to share his concerns with Amber but when he suggests he could get a job in London and they could share a flat she dismisses the idea. Amber promises to visit at weekends and assures him they’ll survive but Darryl’s not so sure.

Pam’s (Kate Anthony) new business plan for Bill (Peter Armitage) involves wearing bright orange boiler suits. Leon (Andrew Langtree) arrives just as Jason (Ryan Thomas) is modelling one of the outfits and is rather impressed by what he sees.

Friday 11 September [1]

Peter (Chris Gascoyne) agrees Simon (Alex Bain) can hold a funeral for his rabbit. Hearing about his pet’s death Sophie (Brooke Vincent) suggests they bury the rabbit in the back garden of Number 4 so that Simon can visit its grave. Simon makes a heartfelt speech at the funeral and seeing how upset he is Peter tells him he‘s taking him on a little trip to cheer him up. As they arrive at an Italian restaurant in Leeds a waitress heads over to take their order. It’s Leanne (Jane Danson). Simon’s thrilled to see her but how will Leanne react to Peter’s sudden appearance?

Steve (Simon Gregson) and Becky (Katherine Kelly) are left reeling following the drama at the police station. But as Steve makes some decisions about their marriage Hooch drives up outside the Rovers and orders Steve to get into the car. As Steve climbs in Hooch drives off, what is he up to now?

Darryl’s (Jonathan Dixon) put out when Amber’s (Nikki Patel) friend Mitch (Marcquelle Ward) shares a cab to a party with them. He’s even more upset to hear that Mitch is going to the same university as Amber. Darryl accuses Amber of fancying Mitch. She denies it but after a blazing row she heads to the party without him.

Jesse (John Thompson) auditions potential assistants for his act. It’s not going too well until Julie (Katy Cavanagh) volunteers her services. Could Julie be just what Jesse is looking for?

Friday 11 September [2]

Sean (Antony Cotton) finds Jason (Ryan Thomas), Leon (Andrew Langtree) and the football team in a gay club. Knowing the joke’s gone on for too long he tells Leon that Jason’s actually straight. But when Leon refuses to believe him Sean’s horrified and informs Jason that he’s been playing for a gay football team. Jason thinks it’s hilarious and when Leon decides to ‘out’ Jason by entering him in the club’s Mr Gay Weatherfield contest a drunken Jason revels in the competition.

Leanne (Jane Danson) reluctantly serves Peter (Chris Gascoyne) and Simon (Alex Bain). Peter apologises for his past behaviour and begs Leanne to return home with him. But when Leanne reveals she has a new boyfriend and a new life they leave without her. Back on the street Peter tells Blanche how he failed to win Leanne back. Blanche however is confident Leanne will change her mind.

Hooch tells Steve (Simon Gregson) what he plans to do with Becky’s court case. Steve hopes it’s the last he’ll see of him but Hooch has one final parting shot for Steve, warning him that Becky will always bring him trouble.

Teresa (Karen Henthorn) encourages Darryl (Jonathan Dixon) to apologise to Amber (Nikki Patel) but he arrives at the party to see her kissing Mitch (Marcquelle Ward). How will Darryl react?
