Her debut single 'Bad Boys' is set to premiere sometime in the next week. It features Flo Rida, so its going to be upbeat.
Hope its good!
Im glad its upbeat :D cant wait to hear it :p
i'd rather her first single wasnt featuring anyone else to be honest. mind you Flo Rida seems to turn everything into a big hit at the moment.

Well Leona took just as longI remember when Bleeding Love was first played on Radio 1  I loved it straight away. I reckon she'll always be my fave X Factor winner, it'd take a lot to beat her.

Decent and really catchy chorus but all in all quite a forgettable song imo
Well it aint no Bleeding Love but will still be a hit

Removed already!
can't say im overly impressed by it, seeing some of the trash that gets to number 1 these days, this will get to the top quite easily. i hope there's better songs on her albumn than this one. i really wish she hadnt involved Flo Rida in her debut single tbh!

you know if they just sorted the crappy verses out then this would actually be quite decent, the chorus is really addictive once you get into it
not impressed by the music video at all! Much prefer Cheryl's video

Alexandra Burke has claimed that she avoided including too many ballads on her upcoming album Overcome.
The X Factor winner, who releases the record on October 19, admitted that she was eager to create a good balance on her debut offering.
"We are trying to get a mix between some good ballads, mid and very uptempos, but mainly the uptempos because I love to dance," she told Attitude.
"I said to them if it's going to be a ballad that you're choosing for the album, I want it to make it to make me cry.
"It needs to mean so much to me to the point where I wanna cry when I'm singing it - and if it's an uptempo track I wanna be going crazy on stage."
The singer, who recorded much of the album in Los Angeles, revealed that she is hoping the record will be released in the States next year.
"[Record label] Syco wanted to do it at the same time but that's not realistic as I can't be in two places at one time," she said.
"I think the American release will be next year at some point but it's not been confirmed yet. My manager Richard is out there at the moment talking to the American label and a lot of the people I'm working with are Beyoncé's people."
Burke releases new single 'Bad Boys' on October 12.

same they played it twice last night when i was out and i really like it now.think its good her debut wasnt a ballad like Leonas to be honest. we all know she can sing ballads, so she can save them for later releases from the albumn

Love this song, so catchy! Much better than Cheryl's too! Are they going to be hitting the charts at the same time? I hope Alexandra's beats Cheryls..
It is the pop chart equivalent of David versus Goliath - wee Alexandra Burke pitted against the heavyweight of pop, Mr Robbie Williams.
And just like the biblical myth, baby Burke has pulled off the mother of all giantkillings - trouncing the cocky singer in the midweeks.
With 89,384 - and counting - sales to date, the X Factor winner's Bad Boys single is thrashing Robbie by more than 2:1. His eagerly awaited - and massively over-hyped - comeback track, Bodies, is well and truly flatlining with a mere 42,751 sales.
In stark contrast, 21-year-old Alex's Bad Boys - featuring US rapper Flo Rida - has become the fastest selling song for 2009.
Not bad going for a former restaurant singer from North London. We're told: "Alexandra is absolutely thrilled. When she first realised she was going head to head with Robbie in the charts, she was petrified.
"He has a huge profile and an enormous publicity machine behind him. But talent will out. Bad Boys is an absolutely fantastic track and when she performed it on the X Factor, she left both the judges and audience on their feet." Our source went on: "Robbie was a huge disappointment and received a backlash of criticism afterwards. He is sure to be devastated - he was gunning for No1."
I think she will get to No. 1 today

Alexandra Burke has beaten Robbie Williams to the top of the UK singles chart.
'Bad Boys', her collaboration with US rapper Flo Rida, sold 187,100 copies last week to become the fastest-selling single of the year so far.
Alexandra Burke has admitted that she is "blown away" after her single 'Bad Boys' shot straight to number one yesterday.
The track, which achieved first week sales of 187,100, sold over double the amount of her nearest rival Robbie Williams, who debuted at two with 'Bodies'.
"I'm blown away. I've been recording my album for the last six months, so I'm hugely excited to finally be sharing my music with everyone," she told the BBC.
"I want to say a big thank you for all the support I'm receiving, I'm one very happy girl today."
HMV spokesperson Gennaro Castaldo claimed that Burke has a "tremendous platform" for success with her debut album Overcome, which is released today.
"Fending off the mighty challenge of Robbie on his return, shows that her fan base has not only stayed with her, but is growing as she connects with a wider audience," he said.
Burke first reached number one with her X Factor winning single 'Hallelujah' last December.
