BORN-again Christian Lucas Johnson freaks out during his weekly church meeting when his druggie wife turns up *wanting money.

The religious dad loses the plot as evil Trina continues to ruin his cosy new life in Albert Square.

In a fit of rage, Lucas bundles his ex out of his Pentecostal Church meeting *before throwing *money in her face, telling her to go and buy drugs. Our EastEnders source told us: “Lucas is still struggling to get Trina out of his life but she’s determined to stick around and cause trouble for him.

“She’s jealous he’s got back together with love rival Denise Wicks and is refusing to give him a divorce so they can get married.

“Trina then starts hassling Lucas for cash so she can buy drugs. At first he refuses to do it. But he finally snaps when she turns up out of the blue at one of his meetings.

“Trina approaches the group, shouting at Lucas, so he kicks her outside.

“He doesn’t know what else to do except to give her money for drugs.

“But his *actions *horrify his congregation.”

And things are set to get even more difficult for Lucas when Trina is killed off in the BBC1 soap’s big autumn whodunnit.

Our source added: “Trina won’t be around to cause chaos for too much longer.

“But her death all seems a bit convenient for Lucas, who will then have to cope with being the prime suspect.”

Viewers can catch the show a week on Tuesday (September 1) at 7.30pm.

Trina makes a show of herself on Jordan's birthday
Airs on Monday, August 31 2009 at 20:00 BST on BBC One

It's the day of Jordan's birthday and while Libby, Chelsea and Patrick prepare to go to the Notting Hill carnival, Lucas is outside with Jordan playing with a new skateboard. They're waiting for Trina to stop by but Lucas expresses his concerns to Denise about Trina letting her son down again. Carnival fever takes hold but Jordan's anxious that Trina's not turned up. Denise leaves her a voicemail and as they're about to leave, Trina turns up. Jordan's ecstatic by his mother's arrival and she hands her son a mobile phone for his birthday. Before she leaves, Jordan invites Trina along to the carnival, much to everyone's disdain. Lucas reluctantly agrees, but before they head out, Trina goes to the bathroom.

Trina takes her time and when she eventually emerges, she's high on drugs. Lucas is livid and when she admits to being high, he tries to cart her out the house. However, Jordan sees what's going on and he's upset by the commotion. Trina barges into the living area and starts dancing and when Patrick suggests that Jordan leave the room, Trina insists that he stay with his mother. In her drug-fuelled rage, she shouts, 'I'm his mum', before hurling his mobile phone at a wall. Lucas finally manages to drag Trina out of the house where she insults Denise, who has to be held back. Trina viciously tells Lucas that she'll not be giving him a divorce and insists that she'll make his life hell from hereon in.

Meanwhile, there's high tension at the Masoods' as Zainab and Masood argue over the pregnancy. As their sons search for Bank Holiday activities, Masood insists that they have to tell their children about her condition. He then goes on in his attempts to convince her that they'll be able to cope with a new addition to the family. Tamwar hears his parents arguing and asks if everything's okay, forcing Zainab to cover her turmoil. Later, Jane finds Masood at the Masala Queen unit and admits that she knows about Zainab's pregnancy. They have a heart-to-heart about the situation.

Later, Amira offers to speak to Zainab and when she does, she's shocked to hear that she's pregnant. Their chat is interrupted by Masood's return, but they head to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Moments later, Masood storms in and confronts Zainab about telling Jane. Hearing the events in the next room, Tamwar and Syed go to find out what's happening, only to be told by Masood that their mother's pregnant and she doesn't want the baby. Zainab's furious and storms out crying.

Elsewhere, Jean's stressing about her newfound responsibilities; Bianca's disappointed that Ricky's not returned; Mo's unhappy by Charlie's departure and sits drinking cans in the Square gardens; Whitney receives her GCSE results; Mo sits in Charlie's cab because she doesn't want to sell it; Bianca receives a voicemail from Ricky insisting that he'll be home soon; and Charlie returns just as his can's sold, but he's not alone - he has a Russian lady called Orlenda on his arm.

A frustrated Zainab disappears from home

As Denise tidies up in the wake of Trina's visit, Lucas insists that they're not going to let her destroy the family. As he's readying himself for his meeting with the Walford Pentecostal Church, Denise mentions Trina again. He assures her that she's well out of his life, before heading out. As he steps outside, Lucas makes a phone call, saying: 'Will meet you, Walford Park, half an hour'. Later, Lucas waits on a bench in the park as Trina turns up. She reveals that she's been sleeping in a potting shed on an allotment and that she needs a fix but has no money. With that, she suggests that if he gives her £1,000, she'll walk out of his life for good. Lucas is disgusted by her suggestion and walks away himself.

Lucas arrives at his church meeting and while answering people's questions, Trina turns up at the door. She starts shouting her mouth off and he immediately throws her out, hurling money at her so she can buy her next fix. Later, Lucas tells Denise that he really wants to be with her. With Denise out, Trina hammers on the front door and Lucas is coaxed into letting her in. She claims that she's there to see Jordan but Lucas says that he's not there. Instead, she asks for a shower and he reluctantly lets her. Afterwards, she walks into the living room in just a towel to ask for some deodorant. As he gets up out of his chair, Trina drops the towel and they fall into a passionate embrace…

Meanwhile, Tamwar and Syed tease Masood about the pregnancy and Zainab wanders in drinking water. Tamwar questions why she's not fasting, to which she replies that she doesn't have to as she's pregnant. Zainab vents her frustration at Masood for telling the kids about the pregnancy the way he did. Feeling betrayed, she walks out. Syed attempts to talk his mother around, but Zainab feels suffocated and reacts angrily. Having alienated most of her family, they talk about her in the living room, unaware that she's listening at the door. She suddenly bolts upstairs.

Later, Tamwar finds his mother running down the stairs with packed bags. Tearful, she pushes by her son and leaves, saying: "Tell your father I'm sorry." On discovering Zainab's disappearance, Masood's furious at Tamwar for allowing her to leave. Zainab eventually calls Masood to allay his fears and insists that she needs time. With that, she hangs up and it becomes clear that she's staying with Amira.

Elsewhere, Bianca bunks off work for the day, while the children continue asking after Ricky; Mo's not impressed in the slightest by Orlenda's Russian pancakes; Bianca and the kids visit Dot and Jim; Mo questions Charlie about Orlenda and Charlie reveals that when he got to Madeira, he and Brenda ended things and he met Orlenda on his way back; Tiffany persists in her request to arrange a homecoming party for Ricky; Tiffany makes a collage for Ricky's return; Bianca agrees to the party; and under interrogation, Orlenda admits to Mo that she doesn't have a passport…

Trina falls onto a rake and pierces her neck
Airs on Thursday, September 3 2009 at 19:30 BST on BBC One

Concerned about what happened the previous night, Lucas arranges to meet Trina at the tube. As he's waiting, Chelsea passes and suggests that he should probably go home because Trina's there. Back at the house, Trina's with Denise and mentions that she was at the house the day before. Denise, however, is confused because Lucas never mentioned it but Trina covers for him. Later, Lucas drags his wife into the house and insists that the previous night was a mistake. Trina, however, believed that they were back on. Lucas tells Trina that he hates her and wants her out of his life, while Trina turns to blackmail, threatening to tell Denise about their passionate liaison. She walks away and reminds him that she has a panicky voicemail from that morning as evidence of his deceit. Finding Trina outside, Lucas admits that there is something between them and he wants them to meet somewhere away from the Square.

Later, he meets with Trina at Charlie's summerhouse where she's been sleeping. On his arrival, Trina offers Lucas some drugs but he declines, before he hands over a wad of cash to get her out of his and his family's lives. Trina shows Lucas the bracelet that Jordan gave her and stands firm - she's not leaving her son. With that, Lucas snatches the bracelet from her, claiming that she doesn't deserve it. He grabs her and begs her to take the money, but she's adamant that she won't be bought off. As she tries to kiss him, Lucas pushes her away and she falls backwards onto a rake which pierces her neck. She falls to the floor begging for help but Lucas leaves the shed and sits outside alone…

Meanwhile, Zainab's still hiding at Amira's, while Masood's concerned about his wife's whereabouts. As Masood apologises to Tamwar for his actions the previous day, Zainab embarks on a mass spring clean in Amira's flat when she finds one of Syd's dog Sugar's hairs on the sofa. Unable to stand Zainab's obsessive cleaning, Amira tells Syed that his mother's staying at her flat. Zainab's furious that Amira gave up her location and Syed asks her to return home. Back at the house, Zainab apologises to Masood, before revealing that she won't run any longer - she's decided to have the baby.

Elsewhere, Mo's completely distrusting of Orlenda; Stacey and Jean catch Mo rifling through Orlenda's belongings; Charlie confronts Mo about her behaviour; and Mo spots Orlenda in an embrace with another man in the market.

Lucas desperately covers his tracks
Airs on Friday, September 4 2009 at 20:00 BST on BBC One

While Lucas sits outside the shed, a bleary-eyed Trina reaches for her phone and tries to make a call. Denise answers her phone but nobody speaks. At that moment, Lucas enters the summerhouse and finds Trina dead. Thinking quickly, he dons a pair of gardening gloves, grabs one of Trina's needles and injects her arm, leaving the needle there. He clears the scene, grabs his money and flees. On his way home, Lucas ditches the gardening gloves and a needle in a nondescript bin bag in the Square. Denise questions where he's been, but Lucas maintains his cover, claiming that he had a meeting with someone at the church. Over a romantic meal, Denise suggests that she and Lucas marry before Christmas. Denise, however, isn't convinced by Lucas's reaction.

As they're talking, Denise mentions Trina and Lucas suddenly leaves the table and pretends to use the phone. He starts to dress himself and puts the shirt he had on earlier in the day in his bag. Using the phone call as a decoy, Lucas claims that he has to head out to 'meet William from the church'. Instead, Lucas goes to the launderette to wash his clothes. While he's there, Denise sends him a text that reads, 'Come home. Problem'. Lucas is terrified. However, he returns home to hear that Jordan's in bits because he can't get hold of Trina. Jordan goes to calm his son down. Speaking to Jordan, he says that Trina phoned earlier saying that she'd call around but hasn't made contact since. Accepting that his mum continually lets him down, Jordan asks his father: "Why can't she just leave us alone?"

Meanwhile, Bianca's preparing for Ricky's homecoming party. Phil drops by to ask if Bianca knows what time Ricky's returning, but she snaps that she doesn't know. As Phil leaves, he receives a call on his mobile from Ricky. Realising that she actually wants to know what time Ricky's returning, Bianca goes to The Vic to apologise for biting his head off earlier in the day. Phil mentions that Ricky called from the airport and that he'll be back shortly. Bianca's left surprised at the revelation that Ricky's been abroad. While preening herself in preparation for the party, Bianca admits to Whitney that she wants to get back with Ricky and that she always used to take him for granted. With that, Ricky calls and they each promise the other a surprise.

Bianca's frustrated when she goes downstairs to see the food and the cake ruined, so she heads out to buy another. While in the Minute Mart, Charlie reveals that he's just seen Ricky walk into The Vic. Inside, Ricky's arguing with Phil and Bianca launches into a rant about how much effort they've gone to in preparing for his party. However, she's completely oblivious to the shock that's in store for her…

Elsewhere, Mo follows Orlenda who's with another man and takes covert photos of them; Charlie stuns Mo when he 'admits' that he knew Orlenda had a boyfriend; Orlenda reveals to Charlie that she's been trying to scam him; Mo's happy to see Orlenda packing and Orlenda gives Charlie the money back that she borrowed; and Charlie loses his rag with Mo when she mentions that Brenda didn't compare with his ex-wife Viv.
