Mouse Problems

On my PC the mouse started to stick a little

So i took the ball out the bottom and get it a little clean but now the mouse will only move up and down, its refusing to move to the side.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Ive taken it out again and cleaned blew inside just incase there was anything stopping it moving but still not getting anywhere

Have you tried moving the rollers inside the mouse when the ball is out, to see if it still moves the mouse?

Take the rollers out, they usually just pop out. Clean the hair and other bits of gunge off them and wash with methalated spirits or surgical spirit. Replace and all should work.

If all else fails pop along and buy an optical mouse which has no working parts to get clogged up.
