Dizzee Rascal has reportedly been invited to visit the set of BBC soap EastEnders, in response to his claims today that he would be keen to star in the programme.
According to The Sun, the 'Bonkers' rapper believes that acting is a "natural progression" from music.
"I could see myself on EastEnders one day - they just need to offer me a role and I'm there," he said.
Replying to the reports, an EastEnders spokeswoman stated that Rascal would be welcome on the set at any time.
"In regards to the singer being offered an actual role in the show, the representative explained that nothing has been confirmed at present, although she refused to rule out the prospect of him starring in the future.
"It's not out of the question, but we've certainly not got anything sorted with regards to him joining the programme," she added.
