La Toya Jackson is "in serious discussions" to join Season 9 of Dancing with the Stars and already has a firm offer on the table, a source tells Us Weekly.
Nothing is official yet, as ABC does not comment on casting rumors, but Jackson's rep says the reality show would be a "good fit" for the 53-year-old. "She's a big fan of the show, and being from a musical family, it would be a good fit," Jackson's rep tells Us.
A Dancing gig wouldn't be Jackson's first foray into reality TV. She competed on the U.K.'s Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year.
The Season 9 Dancing cast will be unveiled Monday.

Next Wednesday’s live results show of Dancing With the Stars will feature a tribute to Patrick Swayze, according to People.com. Swayze, a classically trained ballet and jazz dancer who flaunted some Latin ballroom flair during a cameo in 2003’s Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights, guested on season 1 of Dancing when he dropped in on his buddy John O’Hurley’s rehearsal to teach him some moves in 2005. Swayze “was one of the few people to integrate dance with being an A-list actor,” said executive producer Conrad Green. Season 9 of Dancing With the Stars premieres Monday, Sept. 21.

They try to avoid injuries every season, but these days the Dancing with the Stars cast is hoping to protect themselves from the flu bug that’s hit the ballroom.
“I’m living off of [vitamin drink mix] Emergen-C right now,” Lacey Schwimmer said after Monday night’s performance. “And though I love them, I’m also keeping my distance from Derek [Hough] and Mark [Ballas].”
Hough, who got sick and had to drop out of Monday’s performance with model Joanna Krupa, said he’s not 100 percent recovered but is “feeling and doing a lot better. I was in pretty bad shape last week.”
“Wednesday I got home around 1 a.m. after rehearsing and choreographing [the Michael Jackson tribute]. By 3 a.m., I was sicker than a dog,” Hough told PEOPLE, adding that he had a 105-degree fever. “My whole bed was drenched because I sweated so much. I had to sleep in the bathtub. I’ve been sick a thousand times but something was different about this — I literally couldn’t walk or move but I eventually went to the doctor and got some IVs in my arm because I was so dehydrated.”
Krupa also felt ill during the week but with the aid of “some homeopathic stuff from the doctors” her health improved. “It was a little bit of cold but thankfully I didn’t get what Derek got,” she said.
So how is the rest of the group fighting off the flu?
“As soon as I heard about it, I took medicine. I’m a hypochondriac — I hate, hate getting sick. I use hand sanitizer every five seconds,” explained Aaron Carter.
“I’m just trying to sleep as much as I can,” said Mark Dacascos.
When Hough’s pal and dancing pro Mark Ballas got sick at the same time, he made sure to wear a mask during practice with Melissa Joan Hart, while Mya said her solution was just some rest and relaxation.
“It’s all about the massages,” the singer said. “They get rid of a lot of toxins. Taking baths and overloading on water also helps.”
“No flu shots yet,” added partner Dmitry Chaplin, “but definitely a lot of vitamin C!”

Former NFL star Michael Irvin scored just enough points to hold onto his place on 'Dancing with the Stars' - Irvin narrowly advanced through Tuesday's elimination episode, while actress Melissa Joan Hart and snowboarder Louie Vito got the dancing boot. "That's the game," said 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch' star Hart. "It's tough. I was hoping to make it one more week."
Michael Irvin and Mark Dacascos have become the ninth and tenth celebrities to be voted off this season's Dancing With The Stars.
The NFL star and Iron Chef America's Dacascos were booted off the ABC competition during last night's live show.
Irvin and professional partner Anna Demidova were eliminated first after receiving the lowest overall combined total of judges' points and viewer votes.
Speaking after the result was announced, he said: "Last night was a great night and to see the audience here standing up, it's a way of saying they appreciate the hard work and I think that means a great deal to a lot of people."
His partner added: "It's been a great experience and I want to say thank you to Michael for being such a wonderful partner and such a hard worker."
Irvin had earned his best-ever score of 23 points for his foxtrot on Monday night's instalment of the show. Len Goodman said he was "brilliant", while Carrie Ann said it was "gracious, fluid and has great content".
Dacascos and professional partner Lacey Schwimmer were eliminated after losing in the dance-off to Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff.
They had chosen to perform the cha cha cha, while Carter and Smirnoff, who received two perfect scores on Monday, opted for the jive.
The judges were impressed by the tricks that Dacascos included in his dance, but unanimously decided that Carter's jive was superior and that he should stay in the competition. "This is a little bit difficult [to decide]," admitted Carrie Ann Inaba. "You are both incredible."
Speaking after his elimination, Dacascos said: "It's been one of the greatest experiences of my life and it's certainly a lot harder than it looks on TV! The bond you create with the pro dancers and the other celebs is really special."
Schwimmer, who returned to the show last night after illness forced her to skip Monday's dance, added: "I think you did awesome and I got to dance with you one last time and you ended big and did it great."
Last night's episode opened with a replay of Team Tango's group performance, which the judges deemed the best dance of the week.
Entertainment was provided by Rod Stewart, Colbie Caillat and Hough Ballas, the rock band founded by Dancing professionals Derek Hough and Mark Ballas.
Dancing With The Stars continues next Monday on ABC.

Susan Boyle is set to perform on Dancing with the Stars, People reports.
The Britain's Got Talent runner-up and worldwide singing sensation will fly to Los Angeles for an appearance on the show next week, but she will not be dancing.
"She's excited and happy," her brother, John Boyle, tells the magazine. "She loves America and loves the people. She appreciates their honesty."
Boyle last appeared on U.S. television to perform during the season finale of America's Got Talent in September. She will likely perform a song from her debut CD, I Dreamed a Dream, which hits stores Nov. 24.
Aaron Carter has become the latest celebrity to get the boot from Dancing With The Stars.
The singer was eliminated from the ABC competition during last night's live results show after landing in the bottom two with Kelly Osbourne.
He had earned 23 out of 30 points for his foxtrot with partner Karina Smirnoff on Monday, which tied for the lowest score of the evening alongside Donny Osmond.
However, the 21-year-old earned praise and a total of 27 points for his second dance, a '90s-style samba.
Speaking after his elimination, he said: "One thing I will always remember and take from this is the lessons I've learned. I've grown so much with your compliments and criticisms so thank you."
Judge Len Goodman said: "I think the dedication that you have shown week after week is absolutely fantastic. I think you are an inspiration to all young people that everything is possible."
He added: "If you were my son, I would be so proud of you but more importantly, you be proud of yourself because you've been great."
Entertainment was provided by Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle, who sang her audition track 'I Dreamed A Dream', while Michael Bublé was also present to perform 'Feeling Good' and new track 'Haven't Met You Yet'.
Last night's instalment also featured a replay of Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough's futuristic paso doble, which the judges dubbed the most entertaining routine from Monday night.
Only four celebrities now remain ahead of next week's semi-final: Donny Osmond, Kelly Osbourne, Joanna Krupa and Mya.
