New girlfriend for David

Coronation Street producers have cast a new girlfriend for troubled teen David Platt.

Actress Kirsty-Leigh Porter will take on the role of David's (Jack P. Shepherd) new love interest Zoe, with whom he becomes friendly while washing her hair at his grandma Audrey's (Sue Nicholls) salon.
