I was going to vote for the original one - willy wonka, but actually I think I like a tiny bit more the recent one... :hmm:

I used to think Willy Wonka was scary and some of the music, I dont just at times when I was younger I would find it a bit scary :p

Without any doubt the original.. Gene Wilder is fantastic and I find the newer one much darker and scarier... plus you gotta love the umpa lumpa song :cheer:

The original was great and the recent remake is pretty decent for a remake but the original wins hands down! Everything in the original film was like you had read about in the book.

Loved the original, partly because of the Oompa Lumpas, I mean they had green hair and were Orange.

The new one cannot compare because Willy Wonka seemed far too weird, compared to the orginal funny quirky one.

The orignal one for me because of the songs and the oompa loompas. The Johnny Depp was more darker and went into more why he was a recluse. Both were good films but the first one was th.e best
